In the most recent edition of the J.D. Power U.S. Website Evaluation Study, Buick was ranked below average, indicating that prospective consumers are generally dissatisfied with the Tri-Shield brand’s website.
According to the J.D. Power Summer 2024 U.S. Manufacturer Website Evaluation Study, Buick ranked 11th overall with a score of 717 out of a possible 1,000 in the mass-market segment. This places the Tri-Shield brand between rivals Hyundai and Chrysler, each earning a score of 718 and 712, respectively. Regarding General Motors’ other mass-market brands, Chevy and GMC ranked first and second with scores of 758 and 744, respectively.
It’s worth noting that the segment average was 722, while Mini and Mitsubishi were placed towards the bottom of the list with scores of 700 and 685, respectively.
“There were numerous macroeconomic factors, such as lack of chips and inventory, negatively influencing the auto industry during the pandemic,” J.D. Power Digital Solutions Analyst Chelsea Duckhart noted. “Now, the auto industry is as close to normal as it has ever been and because of that, we are seeing an increase in inventory, incentives and rebates. Additionally, manufacturers are being more transparent by showing vehicles being built and delivered as well as an increase in price transparency, all things that significantly affect website satisfaction.”
As a reference, the first rendition of this study was released in 1999 and has been issued semi-annually since. It examines customer satisfaction while shopping for a new vehicle on automotive manufacturer websites. The latest version of the study is based on survey responses collected from 10,471 new vehicle shoppers who indicate that they will be in the market for a new vehicle sometime in the next two years. For the Summer 2024 edition, responses were fielded in May 2024.
These responses were focused primarily on four key metrics listed in order of importance: information / content, visual appeal, navigation, and speed. The responses were then used to calculate an overall satisfaction score for each automotive manufacturer studied.

Too many Chinese and Korean built models
Interesting statistic as most GM Product websites are virtually identical WRT how they operate. Cadillac is a bit different to try & give the more “premium” experience.
Buick was one of the best quality brands when their vehicles were made in the US. Where as now the majority of them are made in china
The Encore and Envista are Buick’s best selling models and BOTH are made in South Korea.
Rankings will continue to go down with only 3 and 4 cylinder turbo engines in these new Buick import models. Even the new Enclave looks like a Chevrolet.
I have a 2021 enclave avenir and a 22 envision avenir both with 4 year bumper to bumper warranty no problems yet now since 2023 they come with 3 year bumper to bumper warranty whats next
Other than ZPilot…..You folks do realize that this is only about Buick’s website right?
I don’t like their website. It has too many pictures of Chinese and Korean built models.

Not shocking. Their marketing sucks! I have a Regal TourX. Years later I still get multiple compliments on the car. Yet they advertised this thing all wrong. They had an ad with a guy in a sweater vest sitting in a plaid high back chair. In the living room was a TourX with a Christmas tree on top. He says for Christmas he got himself a new Buick. Yeah that going to attract a young active buyer (which this vehicle should’ve been targeted to). It should’ve been a competitor to Subaru.
Who wants to buy a Buick which GM will be discontinuing in the near future and also who wants a 4 cyl vehicle, even at my age, 85 yrs, do I want a put-put in my new car engine.

Lots of luck with those Buick sales when you literally have no choice as to engine hp. And, the fact that GM will be discontinuing Buick line is also a signal not to buy.
Who said Buick is going away???? Haven’t heard anything from by Buick dealership people. I don’t think so.
Not buying the website so really don’t care about that.
Just need the specs/info and inventory search to be right.
But will say… Buick’s very distracting home-page banner with “Exceptional by design!” and the Wildcat concept we’ll never be able to buy, DOES need work.
