Along with the world debut of the all-new 2025 Corvette ZR1 on July 25th in Detroit, General Motors confirmed the fastest and most powerful production Corvette ever built in the Middle East.
The automaker’s Middle East subsidiary was the first to confirm the all-new 2025 Corvette ZR1 for its region, where the Corvette family has a strong following among customers passionate about iconic, high-performance sports cars. The new Corvette ZR1 will expand the eighth-generation model’s lineup in Southwest Asian countries – joining the current Stingray, Z06 and E-Ray.
“The all-new Corvette ZR1 adds to the Chevrolet’s line up of performance cars under the Corvette brand including the Stingray, Z06, and recently available on to order; the E-ray,” said Communications Department of GM Africa and Middle East. “The Middle East is renowned globally for its appreciation of fast, powerful, beautiful sports cars and the arrival of the ZR1 will take this passion stratospheric,” the company added.
Building on the successful legacy of the C8 Corvette, the all-new 2025 Corvette ZR1 arrives to maximize the nameplate’s level of performance and competitiveness with the most powerful V8 engine ever produced by an American automaker, mind-blowing specs, and a highly distinctive, cutting-edge design. In fact, the C8 ZR1 revives the split rear window as one of the most iconic design elements in Corvette history.
Notably, the 2025 Corvette ZR1 debuts the new twin-turbocharged 5.5L V8 LT7 engine that develops an astonishing 1,064 horsepower and 828 pound-feet of torque, representing the most power ever produced by a factory Corvette and the most powerful V8 built in America. The engine is mated to an updated eight-speed dual-clutch transmission with “numerous changes” to support the new LT7’s dramatic power increase.
The all-new 2025 Corvette ZR1 will go into production during the next calendar year at the GM Bowling Green plant in Kentucky and is expected to be officially announced in the Middle East in late 2025. The Corvette ZR1 returns as the flagship of Chevrolet’s legendary sports car with exceptional performance and capabilities to challenge the world’s best supercars in both Coupe and Convertible variants.
