The 2025Â Chevy Trailblazer is the model year following the mid-cycle refresh introduced with the 2024 Chevy Trailblazer, but it still debuts a few significant changes to the vehicle. Among those changes, two exterior paints were dropped from the lineup, while a single color, Marina Blue Metallic, was added as an indirect replacement. Here are the details.
Tagged with color code GKN and assigned touch-up paint number WA-253K, Marina Blue Metallic is one of seven paint colors offered on the 2025 Chevy Trailblazer. The complete lineup of colors is as follows (with color codes in parenthesis:
- Cacti Green (GVR)
- Crimson Metallic (GFM)
- Iridescent Pearl Tricoat (GP5)
- Mosaic Black Metallic (GB0)
- Nitro Yellow Metallic (GHS)
- Sterling Gray Metallic (GZB)
- Summit White (GAZ)
- Marina Blue Metallic (GKN – new for 2025)
Marina Blue Metallic is available at an additional $395 on all four trim levels of the 2025 Trailblazer, including the LS, LT, RS, and Activ trims. It can also be paired with all interior colorways. Notably, it can be matched to a Summit White (color code J33) roof on the Activ trim level and a Mosaic Black Metallic (J35) roof on the RS trim.
For reference, there are five interior colorways offered for the 2025 Chevy Trailblazer, as listed below:
- Jet Black
- Jet Black/Medium Ash Gray
- Jet Black with Red Accents
- Jet Black with Yellow Stitching
- Jet Black/Artemis with Yellow Stitching
Pricing for the 2025 Trailblazer starts at $24,395 for the base LS trim configured with FWD and ranges up to $30,595 for both the RS and Activ trim levels, as originally discovered by GM Authority. The $1,295 destination freight charge is included in these prices. Potential buyers can use the official online configurator to try out various builds with the options and packages available on the crossover.
As one of its more significant changes, the 2025 model year of the Trailblazer replaces the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH engine cranking out 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque with the new turbocharged 1.2L I3 LBP engine as standard, which provides the same output but is also E85-capable. The turbocharged 1.3L I3 L3T gasoline engine, rated at 155 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque, is optionally available.
FWD is standard on all of the crossover’s trim levels, while AWD is optional across the whole lineup. Cog swaps are handled by a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) for most configurations but by the GM nine-speed automatic transmission for the L3T engine combined with all-wheel drive.
As a reminder, the Chevy Trailblazer rides on the GM VSS-F platform, while production takes place at the GM Bupyeong plant in South Korea.
