2025 Cadillac CT5-V Gets Standard Heated Seats And Steering Wheel

The 2025 Cadillac CT5-V ushers in a mid-cycle refresh for the luxury sports sedan, with revisions to the exterior styling, a heavily reworked interior, and updates to the available technology and features.

Now, GM Authority has learned, the 2025 Cadillac CT5-V drops the previously available Cold Weather Package (RPO code Y19) and Climate Package (RPO code Y6F) for the 2025 model year, instead making several of their features standard offerings on the refreshed sedan.

Specifically, the heated driver and front passenger seats (RPO code KA1) and heated steering wheel (RPO code KI3) are now equipped as standard on the 2025 CT5-V. However, the ventilated driver and front passenger seats (RPO code KU9) that were previously offered as part of the Climate Package alongside the heated seats and steering wheel are now available as a $450 standalone option.

The elimination of the Cold Weather and Climate packages is only one of several changes to the available lineup of packages for the 2025 model year. The 2025 Cadillac CT5-V also receives a revised Platinum Package (RPO code PCJ) with additional content and elimination of the Premium Package (RPO code PCK). Its price also increased from $6,540 to $8,595.

The refreshed Cadillac CT5-V features a revised front fascia, new lighting signatures, and a trio of new paint colors – Drift Metallic Deep Space Metallic, and Typhoon Metallic – as revealed by GM this January. A new 33-inch diagonal LED display headlines the interior changes, which also include new lighting choreography. The Super Cruise semi-autonomous driver assist system is now equipped as standard.

Motivation continues to be supplied to the 2025 Cadillac CT5-V by the twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 LGY gasoline engine developing 360 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque, offered as the sole powerplant choice. The engine is paired with the GM 10-speed automatic transmission, sending power to either a standard RWD or optional AWD drivetrain. Performance Traction Management, Launch Control, Magnetic Ride Control and an electronic limited-slip differential are all standard.

Pricing for the 2025 CT5-V starts at $58,390 for the RWD variant and $60,390 for the AWD sedan, as discovered earlier by GM Authority. The GM Alpha 2 platform underpins the luxury performance car, with production scheduled to begin on Monday, July 22nd, 2024 at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.

  1. Really hoping Typhoon Metallic looks as good in person as it does in these rendered photos.

  2. I am glad Cadillac is stepping up to levels of 2024 Trax Activ comfort features.

  3. I couldn’t believe that I had to order my 2022 special to get the heated seats. As well as the only standard colors were black or white. Every other color was an additional cost option.

But of course when GM makes something standard, they bloody well up the prices.
