After announcing the redesigned GMC crossover in the Latin country last October, General Motors has just officially launched the all-new 2024 GMC Acadia Denali in Mexico.
The automaker launched the all-new 2024 GMC GMC Acadia in Mexico’s domestic market from Las Vegas, Nevada, where GM Mexico holds its Annual Convention to present upcoming product innovations to dealer partners and the press in that country. The 2024 Acadia Denali will arrive in the Mexican market next month and will pursue the renewal of the premium truck brand’s model portfolio.
“All-new Acadia is an example of GMC’s Professional Grade, and reaffirms our mission as a leading brand in capacity, refinement and technological innovation in the segment,” said Marketing Manager for GMC at GM Mexico, Teresa Vera. “Professional Grade goes beyond a slogan; it is a promise of value to our customers to provide them with confidence and superior durability in each of our products,” she added.
As GM Authority previewed late last year, the all-new 2024 GMC Acadia will initially arrive in Mexico with the Denali trim level as the only option available to local customers. This significantly elevates the Acadia’s positioning in the Mexican market, as the 2024 Acadia Denali comes standard with all of the model’s available technology and safety features, as well as a highly refined interior.
Mechanically, the 2024 GMC Acadia Denali is powered by the new turbocharged 2.5L I4 LK0 engine that develops 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque, mated to GM’s eight-speed automatic transmission as the only powertrain option for the third generation of GMC’s largest crossover. All Acadia Denali units for Mexico feature AWD as standard.
The all-new 2024 GMC Acadia Denali will begin arriving at GMC’s official dealer network in Mexico during the month of August, when the refreshed full-size crossover will be available for sale to Mexican customers. The model will be offered with a choice of seven different exterior colors and two different interior shades, including an all-black finish and a two-tone finish. Here is the price of the 2024 Acadia Denali in Mexico:
- 2024 Acadia Denali: 1,399,900 pesos (about $77,140 USD at the current exchange rate)

My choice is and always will be focused on buying a vehicle which is produced and built in the United States.
I to will only buy vehicles made in the United States ! The only difference is , I will only buy Union made vehicles ! Back in 2011 I switched from Gm to Ford simply because the light truck crew can models were only made in Mexico ! My wife went from a Yukon to a 2024 GMC Acadia ! & the Acadia doesn’t even come with a complete owners manual now , GM is too poor to provide 1 with the truck ! You can purchase 1 for an additional $50. ! But I have a great dealership & they are going to get me 1 free of charge !
Its 2024,,, almost everything you buy now does not come with paper instructions,, its all on line now so why waste paper? As far as the argument to “only buy US made things” is ridiculous. What you mean is that you will only buy stuff that is “assembled “ in the US. Nothing is 100% made in the US anymore.
I recently had a customer look at a Trax and Trailblazer. After reading the content overwhelmingly being sourced in South Korea. They asked, why shouldn’t I buy a Kia or Hyundai. They have more domestic content!
GM Korea, formerly known as Dae Woo.
Well, recently… back 1 month we were at UAE and then the shuttles to abu dhabi were Lexus ES350H grey and return Toyota Camry white. both new and sedans, however both with A pillar too down, this makes me difficult to enter in car. Design of both is this recently “alike a smash paper which you open again to have the lines”… yep, they were top good but not to say the beautiness. So think this Acadia is good for UAE shuttle resorts transfers. We never went to mexico neither will, a dangerous place who speak spanish. for same dangerous you have brasil speaking portuguese. So UAE is much better than both, no criminality. About the Acadia A pillar, again the problem is not a good solution at all. Why designers do not pay attention to that ?
Hoping for the newer Acadia owner’s/buyer’s sake the boosted 4 cy. is more trouble-free than the previous 3.6 V6 used in the GM Lambda Platform. If you surf the Net much you will find many Independent Techs that provide customer information on their experiences with the 3.6 and none of it is good going all the way back to the 2008-9 model year with the horrible timing-chain fiasco that GM refused to issue a recall for. You can easily find reliable and un-biased opinions advising used vehicle buyers to avoid buying anything GM made with that 3.6 engine. Yeah, I know, there are always exceptions, but these people that are in the repair business are kind enough to post their experience for the benefit of the public and I don’t see where most of them have an axe to grind since they will advise against buying other Transmission/Engine combos from Ford and Stellantis and many Asian and Euro Imports too.
Received my red 2024 Acadia Denali last month. LOVE it. the engine does whine 0-35 mph, after that its fine. Probably the turbo kicking in anyway. Plenty of power, tons of great technology, and LOTS of space. Its very intuitive on using the driver info center . I was used to the HuD and super cruise so that is easy to use. Who needs an owner’s manual,,, I mean Really!
