2024 Corvette E-Ray Order Books Now Open In The Middle East

A year and a half after announcing the first electrified Corvette in the Middle East, General Motors has just announced that it’s now talking orders for the 2024 Corvette E-Ray in the region.

The Chevrolet Middle East regional team announced that customers in the region now have the opportunity to palce an order for the new 2024 Corvette E-Ray, which represents the first-ever electrified version of the iconic American sports car. As such, the 2024 E-Ray will arrive to expand the Corvette range in Middle East countries, where it will be available in limited quantities.

“In 2023, Chevrolet announced the introduction of the first-ever electrified Corvette E-Ray, which was met with much excitement,” said Communications Department of Chevrolet Middle East. “Now, a select few in the Middle East will get the opportunity to be the first to experience the E-Ray with orders for the nameplate now live,” the brand added.

The ordering period for the new 2024 Corvette E-Ray in the Middle East officially began on July 10th, when the brand’s dealers in major countries in Southwest Asia began receiving formal requests from customers. GM clarifies that orders for vehicles in the Chevrolet official dealer network are made on a first-come, first-serve basis and at the discretion of the dealer, and in accordance with the local dealer’s ordering process and terms.

Notably, the new 2024 Corvette E-Ray stands as the first-ever electrified model of the legendary sports car and the first all-wheel-drive Corvette, an unprecedented combination that further elevates the performance and driving experience. Additionally, the 2024 E-Ray is also the fastest production Corvette ever, capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds.

The new 2024 Corvette E-Ray features a hybrid powertrain consisting of the familiar mid-mounted 6.2L V8 LT2 engine with a front-axle mounted electric motor, which generate a combined output of 655 horsepower. The system features a 1.9 kWh battery placed between the seats and an eAWD system that applies the additional power to the front wheels.

Customers interested in ordering the 2024 Corvette E-Ray in the Middle East can do so directly at an official Chevrolet dealership or on the brand’s official website in the region. First deliveries are expected to begin at the end of the third quarter.
