12-Cylinder 1995 Geo Metro For Sale In Florida

You gotta love a home-brew special, especially when it has two engines. And that’s exactly what you get with this 1995 Geo Metro, which was torn apart and rebuilt with a pair of Mitsubishi six-cylinders, one up front and the other in the rear. Now, this terrifying little hatchback is listed for sale.

Geo Metro for sale with two engines.

According to the listing, this heavily modified 1995 Geo Metro is equipped with two Mitsubishi 6G72 engines. For those that don’t know, the 6G72 is a 3.0L SOHC 12-valve V6 previously equipped by a long list of Mitsubishi, Dodge, and Chrysler vehicles, with the engines in this particular build apparently plucked from the bays of two Mitsubishi Eclipses. In stock guise, these engines were rated at 195 horsepower and 205 pound-feet of torque. Assuming similar power numbers from the engines in this Geo Metro, combined output should be around 400 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque, plus all-wheel drive. So yeah, it’s probably quick.

Paired with a claimed curb weight around 3,000 pounds, it’s enough to send the little hatchback down the quarter mile in roughly 11 seconds, or so the seller states. The seller also states they have “tested for months and driven this vehicle from 0-150 mph plus at least six times.”

The exterior appears to be stripped down to the bare metal, with rivets placed along the various body chopped-up panels. The front end was cut off and now includes a set of crash bars wrapping around the nose, while the rear-mounted engine is fed by a series of scoops and ducts, with the rear glass removed to provide extra space and cooling.

The seller claims this creation to be “in the top three fastest Geo Metros on Earth” and mentions it is their third twin-engine build so far. Now, this unique creation is currently listed on eBay with a reserve of $70,000 and a Buy It Now price of $91,000.
