The 2024 Chevy Equinox EV is finally arriving in dealerships, available in several trim levels and colors, and now, a few dealer-installed options that were previously under constraint are now available to order again.
Back in March 2024, GM Authority reported that several Chevy Equinox EV options and packages were unavailable due to supplier issues. Most of them can now be ordered, including:

However, the following dealer-installed accessory is still under constraint:

Production of the 2024 Chevy Equinox EV is under way in Mexico, and deliveries to customers in the U.S. and Canada have started. The first units to hit dealers were First Edition variants, which included 2RS features with available two-tone paint schemes. However, there are now a slew of 2LT, 2RS, 3LT and 3RS trim levels to choose from across the United States. The base 1LT trim level isn’t in production yet, set to arrive later this year with a base MSRP of $34,995 including the destination freight charge.
Back in December, GM officially announced that production of the 2024 Chevy Equinox EV would kick off in Q1 of 2024. The Equinox EV was initially scheduled to begin production during the 2023 calendar year, but was subsequently delayed, with GM also pushing back the launch of two other all-electric products, namely the Chevy Silverado EV RST and GMC Sierra EV Denali. The delay was announced during GM’s Q3 earnings presentation, with GM CEO Mary Barra pointing towards a need for software optimization.
However, some features initially announced during the Equinox EV’s debut won’t be available, at least for the 2024 model year, such as the wireless phone charger and the Rear Camera Mirror.
The 2024 Chevy Equinox EV is equipped with a single front-mounted Ultium Drive motor in front-wheel drive units, producing 213 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque. Meanwhile, Equinox EV AWD units feature a two-motor setup with 288 horsepower and 333 pound-feet. On a full charge, the 85 kWh Ultium battery pack provides a driving range of 319 miles in FWD units and 285 miles in AWD variants.
