Sideshow Crowd Tramples Chevy Camaro Convertible For Fun: Video

Taken individually, most people can be reasoned with, and although a difference of opinion could arise, some level of civil discourse is at least possible. It’s when people start getting together in large groups that the problems start. Something about the mob mentality makes an otherwise levelheaded person a bit nutty, dangerous even. Such is the case in this video, where we see a group of young folks enthusiastically destroy a Chevy Camaro convertible.

A mob destroys a Chevy Camaro convertible.

The video, recently posted to social media, was apparently captured at a sideshow. Looking at the account that posted the video, it’s possible the incident occurred in Atlanta, Georgia. Sideshows are illegal car gatherings wherein participants perform donuts and burnouts in front of a crowd of onlookers. Obviously, this sort of activity could lead to injuries among participants, as we’ve seen on numerous occasions. Occasionally, violence breaks out as well, as was the case here.

In the video, we see the poor Chevy Camaro convertible already heavily damaged. Members of the crowd swarm over the vehicle, kicking the body panels, jumping on the hood, and smashing the windshield. One of the onlookers pops a tire with a knife, while another tags a fender with a white graffiti marker.

It’s unclear exactly what led to this incident. However, it’s quite possible that the Chevy Camaro was stolen and brought to the sideshow before the crowd wrecked it.

For enthusiasts, this serves as a grim reminder to always be mindful of where and how their vehicle is stored, especially high-profile models like the Chevy Camaro convertible, which can easily become targets for theft and vandalism in such settings. As GM Authority has covered previously, the Chevy Camaro has been a frequent target for car thieves, with skyrocketing rates of theft in major cities like Los Angeles.

    1. Chances are this car was stolen and we all know in “woke” communities this activity is not prosecuted.

  8. Another case of GEN Z moronic activity, that generation is BRAIN DEAD! I see it at work and everywhere else,GEN Z literally does not posess any skills other than video games, mobile phones and social media sites that feed them with garbage. I raised 3 Millenials and they didn’t get phones until 16 and all 3 turned out awesome. Nowadays parents are putting phones and tablets in the hands of toddlers so they don’t have to keep a close eye on their kids, that is bad parenting and ultimately leads to this video. Shameful behavior and our country is going to be saved by GEN Z? More like destroyed….
