First launched in the North American country in early 2020, General Motors has just announced the start of the new season of Chevy All Star Driving School Mexico.
The automaker’s Mexican subsidiary launched the third season of Chevy All Star Driving School Mexico, an exclusive Chevrolet reality show that promotes the importance of safe driving and the attributes of the models in the brand’s portfolio through entertainment. The new edition of the program began on Saturday, June 1, and will feature the participation of various Mexican personalities from the entertainment industry.
“With this third season, Chevrolet reiterates its commitment to promoting a culture of road safety in Mexico in a unique and fun way,” said Director of Marketing, Advertising, and Promotions at GM Mexico, Adriana Schütte. “All Star Driving School is on board the most representative vehicles in our brand’s portfolio, which have all the design, technology, and safety attributes to help us become better drivers,” she added.
Just like the second edition of the reality show presented in 2022, the third season of Chevy All Star Driving School Mexico will have a total of 13 30-minute episodes that will showcase the good and bad driving habits of 12 invited Mexican celebrities. They will put their driving skills to the test aboard 14 Chevrolet vehicles, from the popular Chevy Aveo to the high-performance Corvette Z06 to the all-new Chevy Blazer EV.
In each of the 13 episodes of Chevy All Star Driving School Mexico III, the participating celebrities will be advised by a panel of four specialists. The specialists will also be in charge of showing the safety technologies and assistance that Chevrolet vehicles include. At the same time, the series will showcase the design and performance of each model in different dynamic driving tests.
The third season of Chevy All Star Driving School Mexico is produced in Mexico by Dentsu Creative in co-production with Televisa Univisión – the world’s leading Hispanic media network, which collaborated exclusively with Chevrolet. It airs once a week on Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. on Channel 5 and Televisa Univisión’s Vix streaming platform, with reruns on two other channels exclusively broadcast in Mexico.

This is exactly the type of show the US needs. I have said it in the past and will continue to say it. This country needs a much better driver training education process. They need to make it harder to get that DL and they need to understand that they could easily lose it since it’s not theirs’s but the property of the state in which it’s issued. I think kids need to be 18 in order to get a DL and the driver’s education needs to be done professionally and not by some 3rd party who puts magnetic stickers on their Corolla or Prius and makes new drivers think that’s the real world.
A show like this in the US would help promote a better driving habit.
