The sweepstakes to win these two supercharged Chevys is part of a fundraising effort to benefit New Beginning Children’s Home. New Beginning Children’s Home is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides long-term residential care to foster children, giving kids a safe, family atmosphere in which they can grow and heal.
The first of this duo of cars is a 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06. Under the hood, the C7-generation Z06 cradles the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine, rated at 650 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque, enough to propel the two-door to 60 mph in less than three seconds and down the quarter mile in less than 11 seconds. The example offered in the giveaway is decked out in the 3LZ trim level, and includes a striking black paint finish matched with a Jet Black interior, Fittipaldi wheels, and ZR1 wing.
The Z06 is joined by a 2024 Chevy Silverado 1500, which cradles the 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine. However, the V8 in this particular Silverado was upgraded with a supercharger that boosts output to 650 horsepower and 630 pound-feet of torque, making for an impressive “road and track” pairing with the Z06 Vette.
