As GM Authority was the first to report, the 2025 Buick Envista is equipped with a new E85-compatible engine, specifically the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LBP, which replaces the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH. The LBP matches the LIH in terms of output at 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque but can run on E85 fuel, making the 2025 Buick Envista a flex fuel vehicle.
Other notable updates for the 2025 model year include a new exterior paint option, Aquamarine Blue Metallic (paint code GKN), which replaces the outgoing Sunrise Red Metallic (paint code GMF) offered previously.
The Buick Envista rides on the GM VSS-F platform, while production takes place at the GM Bupyeong plant in South Korea.

I know they did it for mpg but it needs AWD.
Not everyone wants AWD. Spend more get an Encore GX.
It doesn’t need AWD, that adds weight to an already underpowered car. What it needs is the 1.5 turbo engine from the Equinox.
This vehicle looks like a 2010 Honda Crosstour with an uglier front and rear design. Tiny 3 cylinder. Pass.
My wife loves the styling of this car. I told her, NO WAY with. 3cyl. engine and AWD not available, sorry hard pass.
At least put the 1.5 in it and add awd along with the 9spd, I’d buy it then
What is the release date?
As I read this, it appears that an optional sunroof, which was available on the 2024 Preferred trim, is now only available on the Touring and Avenir trims.
Is this true? Is there any workaround?
Test drove one. Way under powered. Needs at least a 1.5 preferably 2.0 turbo. Too bad, it’s a nice car otherwise.
Does anyone know if the engine block heater option is still available on the 2025 Envista Avenir trim? My local dealer says no but the national Website says yes when build and price is used.
