The 2025 Buick Encore GX follows the refreshed 2024 model year with a few important updates and changes, including a new E85-compatible engine, new paint options, and more. Critically, pricing for the Encore GX has also changed for the 2025 model year. Now, GM Authority is highlighting pricing information for the 2025 Buick Encore GX with the following breakdown, including options and packages.
Customers have three trim levels to choose from, including Preferred, Sport Touring (ST), and Avenir. Pricing starts at $27,295 for the Preferred, $28,495 for ST, and $32,795 for Avenir. Front-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive is optional across the lineup.
As expected, the 2025 Buick Encore GX offers a wide variety of options and upgrades to enhance the crossover’s styling, comfort, and convenience. Highlights include the Advanced Technology Package (RPO code WPA, $1,095) for Preferred and ST models, and the Avenir Technology Package (RPO code CWM, $1,395) for the Avenir. ST and Avenir models also offer a Power Panoramic Moonroof (RPO code C3U), which is included and only available with the Experience Buick Package (RPO code WPM, $1,695) for ST, and individually priced at $1,495 for Avenir.
As GM Authority covered previously, the 2025 Buick Encore GX will offer the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LBP engine as a replacement for the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH gasoline engine offered previously. The LBP engine is compatible with E85 fuel, making the 2025 Encore GX a flex-fuel vehicle when equipped with the LBP engine. The turbocharged 1.3L I3 L3T gasoline engine will be available for the 2025 model year as well, although the L3T will not be compatible with E85 fuel.
With regard to the exterior paint options, the 2025 Encore GX will offer Aquamarine Blue Metallic (paint code GKN) as an exclusive option for the ST trim level, indirectly replacing Sunrise Red Metallic (paint code GMF).

WAY overpriced for such a tiny little thing. No wonder dealers discount, big time. And continuing the legacy of upcharging for all paint colors other than Summit White makes Buick a laughing stock.
ALOT of car for the money. A good bargain for a quality beautiful Buick!
The Honda HRV, Toyota Corolla Cross, the Subaru Crosstrek, and the Mazda CX3 are WAY better values than the Buick Encore GX. The other four have a proven FOUR CYLINDER naturally aspirated engine and ALL are in the same price range. I personally own a 2017 Encore with the 1.4 turbo. It has 45K miles on it and so far it’s been trouble free. About six months ago I received a letter from Buick that they’re extending the warranty on the turbo to 10 years or 120K miles. I guess they’ve had lot’s of problems or they wouldn’t have made the extension.
I own a 2020 Mazda CX30. I cross shopped the Encore GX at the time and wasn’t sold on the 3 cylinder engine but did appreciate how roomy the Encore GX was for its size. I’m happy with the Mazda. I average about 32 mpg in mixed driving, more than what the GX EPA estimate is. So far no issues in the 4 years I’ve owned it.
They removed the Cooper color for the 2025 models
It’s competitive w/ the value segment (Honda, Mazda, Chevrolet) when discounts are taken into account. Buick hasn’t been luxury in a very long time so this vehicle suits the brand. Not a fan of exterior design but everyone has unique tastes.
It will sell 12,000 units per quarter and that’s all GM cares about. I do wish the noise deafening insulation was used for Chevy. Would help the brand sell better
