The 2025 Chevy Trax introduces several significant updates and changes after the launch of the crossover’s all-new second generation with the 2024 Chevy Trax. While the vehicle gets new standard technology and a new E85-compatible engine, now we’re providing a detailed look at the 2025 Chevy Trax wheels.
Six 2025 Chevy Trax wheels are offered across the compact, affordable crossover’s five trim levels, including the entry-level LS, the 1RS, LT, and 2RS, and the range-topping Activ trim. Each trim gets one standard wheel style, while the LS also gets an optional wheel.
The 2025 Chevy Trax wheel lineup includes both 17-inch and 18-inch rollers. Notably, none of the wheels are standalone options, either free or extra-cost, and there are no LPO or dealer-installed wheel options.
A single choice among 2025 Chevy Trax wheels, the 17-inch Silver-painted aluminum wheel (RPO code RSE) is offered exclusively as part of the LS Convenience Package (RPO code ZFT), priced at $995. The following table provides a full breakdown of wheel availability for the Trax:

As GM Authority previously revealed, pricing for the 2025 Chevy Trax starts at $21,495 for the base LS trim and ranges up to $25,395 for both the 2RS and Activ trim levels. A destination freight charge of $1,095 is included in the starting MSRP of all these trims. These prices also include either a $200 or a $400 increase from the 2024 model year MSRP levels.
The 2025 Trax continues to offer increased length and width relative to the first-gen variant, increasing rear cargo volume by 12 percent and providing passengers in the rear seat with three extra inches of legroom. The overhauled cockpit of lower trim levels features an 8-inch infotainment screen, while those higher in the lineup feature an 11-inch screen.
A single engine choice continues to motivate the Chevy Trax for the 2025 model year, specifically the newly E85-compatible turbocharged 1.2L I3 LBP gasoline engine developing 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. All trims feature standard FWD, with AWD currently unavailable for the second-gen Trax.
Under the body panels, the Trax relies on the GM VSS-F vehicle set for structure. Production takes place at the GM Changwon plant in South Korea.
