For motivation, the Optiq is equipped with two GM Ultium Drive electric motors. One of these motors powers the front wheels and the other the rear wheels, providing AWD for the crossover. A combined 300 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque are produced by the Ultium motors, energized by an 85 kW battery pack.
GM estimates a full-charge range of 300 miles, while hooking the vehicle up to a Level 3 DC fast charger restores up to 79 miles of range in 10 minutes. One-pedal driving is available, and drive modes include Tour, Sport, Snow/Ice in addition to the customizable My Mode. Tech includes, but is not limited to, Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Zone Steering Assist, Enhanced Automatic Parking and Forward Collision Alert.
Start of regular production (SORP) for the 2025 Cadillac Optiq is scheduled for this fall. The entry-level Luxury 1 trim level is expected to carry a starting MSRP of around $54,000.

Kinda disappointed that Emerald Lake and Opulent Blue (two colors available on the Lyriq) aren’t offered. Atleast Radiant Red is there.
Yeah, the lack of green is disappointing. I saw a Lyriq sport in the wild in Emerald Lake Green with a black top and it was a lot darker than I expected. It was cloudy out so at first I thought it was a metallic black. I bet it looks amazing in the sunlight.
Agreed, I came here looking to see if the US would get Opulent Blue. Coastal Blue and Nimbus Metallic just look tacky.
As for me I like coastal blue with black roof, red with black roof and white with black roof. your right there should be more colors especially for a Cadillac they want to sell these EVs then they should be customizable at least a little bit, how about pick your own interior colors to match the exterior make it unique not everyone wants the same thing.
I’m sorry monarch orange looks good to…watch it’ll be unavailable soon!
Usually I would have negative thoughts about an article covering colors a product is offered in, but this is different for two reasons. First, Cadillac’s website is a mess! Second, I was recently looking at colors offered by some of the Japanese brands for their EVs, and they were all what I would consider unsafe colors–very little choice overall, only about 10% of the color spectrum between all their choices. Good to see a wide variety and some bright colors being offered.
So the expected black, white, metallic gray and silver, plus orange, red and blue. But what is Nimbus?
I think this would cool in a dark green . Red or gray are my top choices
The Nimbus is a light blue. Probably be attractive option to the women buyer. I think it’s pretty a good looking color option in the black roof. I’ve had a broad array of colors over the years. Black 63 SS, Yellow Falcon Van, Green 94 STS, Pearl 89 Riveria, Silver 97 E320, Blue 540Etc.
They left out latte so must not be expecting the elderly crowd to go for this one lol.
LMAO at Jerkme lol 😂 😆 and I love that user name I’m rolling 🤣😂! Good job you made me laugh tonight lol! Oh and for the elderly crowd how about fantastic teal Metallic and the white two-tone like in 1950s the headlights can be retro halogen antique white, with chrome wheels, and for the younger crowds how about rainbow Blast metallic with with Laser Beam Headlight and multi and matching rainbow spinning wheels! LMAO 🤣😂🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼!
*multi pro* and matching rainbow spinning wheels*
