The 2024 Chevy Silverado currently offers a wide selection of factory and dealer-installed wheel options, but owners who seek a little more uniqueness and customization can certain turn to the aftermarket industry for alternatives. One of those providers is Texas-based Ferrada Wheels, which offers an interesting range of aftermarket rollers for cars trucks and SUVs.
Featured here is a refreshed Chevy Silverado High Country that not only boasts a lifted suspension kit and other customization features, but is rocking a set of 22-inch Ferrada FTR9 alloy wheels. Four finishes are available for this model described as a “truly concave off-road wheel,” including polished, bronze, black with bright striping, and all black – the latter being showcased on the Silverado.
Its spider web design comprises 12 main spokes split up into 24 branches as they reach the outer rim, with a finely detailed design. Three sizes are available for the six-bolt FTR9 model, including 20 x 9.5-inch, 20 x 10-inch and 22 x 12-inch. Pricing is set at $600 per wheel for the 20-inch variant with a standard polished finish, and $650 with a premium finish. Meanwhile, the 22-inch variants run $750 apiece with the standard finish and $800 each with a premium finish.

These lifted trucks are a safety issue, especially when the rims/tires extend outside the wheel wheels. I have recently had to have a windshield repaired from a rock thrown by a Jeep with these extended tires. You are also blinded at night when you meet these lifted trucks or they get behind you. My state, MS will start writing warning tickets for the “Carolina Squat” in July with regular tickets to begin in January. Squat has already been banned in NC, SC & VA. Many of these lifts/squats are on teenagers/young adult’s vehicles and not performed in a safe manner. I recently observed an AL county deputy directing traffic around a young man’s truck, as the driver’s side front wheel had broken off. Most of these have very expensive wheels (some valued at more than the truck itself in my area) along with neon lighting and will never be used off road.
I agree. I think that they should be transported on a trailer or flatbed.
Wow. Add a drop down hitch with the 3 different sized balls on it, hang a set of fake nuts from under the rear bumper and the goobs will be dancing in the streets.
Two words come to mind… “mall crawler”
