A new viral video shows a high-speed chase between a driver in a Cadillac SRX and Arkansas Police, which ended after police performed a PIT maneuver on the Cadillac. The video, which is about eight minutes and 19 seconds long, captures the moment the Cadillac driver decided to flee during a traffic stop, plus the subsequent arrest. After the driver was apprehended, police discovered he was in possession of a variety of different drugs.
According to the police report posted in conjunction with the video, the incident occurred on June 6th, 2024, around 11:30 p.m. local time. In the video, we see an officer parked on the side of the highway, at which time the officer clocks the Cadillac SRX traveling at 86 mph in a 65-mph zone. After pursuing the Cadillac, the driver exits and pulls over.
The driver claims not to have his driver’s license and states he was in a hurry due to family obligations. However, after the officer asks him to step out of the vehicle, the Cadillac driver flees.
The officer reports the pursuit, noting that the driver had turned off his lights and was driving recklessly. During the chase, a bag was thrown from the Cadillac SRX.
The officer attempts multiple PIT maneuvers to stop the fleeing suspect, including at the three-minute mark, the three-minute, 12-second mark, and the three-minute 21-second mark, eventually causing the Cadillac to come to a stop in a ditch.
The driver is eventually arrested. During a vehicle search, police find a variety of drugs, including Oxycodone, Xanax, and Promethazine. The bag thrown out the window during the chase was later located and found to contain additional Xanax pills. The suspect was transported to the Crittenden County Jail and now faces charges that include speeding, obstructing governmental operations, reckless driving, fleeing in a vehicle, tampering with physical evidence, and multiple counts of drug possession and paraphernalia.

It just amazes me how a dumb**s like this thinks it’s smart to even try and run let alone go through this entire encounter with the law while holding his cell phone. Humanity truly has a problem with phone addiction. Darn lucky he didn’t get shot.
He made a phone call. I’m guessing he called his “distributor” or his Mommy.
Dumba$$!
