About Buick Envision
GM officially unveiled the refreshed 2024 Buick Envision, which features an updated exterior and a new interior, as well as a 30-inch diagonal infotainment screen and more standard safety features.
The 2024 Buick Envision lineup now includes Preferred, Sport Touring (ST), and Avenir trim levels. A first for the nameplate, ST is a new standalone trim that replaces the mid-tier Essence trim along with the Sport Touring Package previously offered on Preferred and Essence trims. However, the ST trim does not bring any performance upgrades.
And while the 2024 Envision won’t offer Super Cruise after all due to unspecified constraints, the Technology Package I will now be included as standard on all 2024 Envision trim levels, which features the Bose Premium nine-speaker audio system and a Head-Up Display. Additionally, the 2024 Envision does offer many new standard safety features. The 2024 Envision loses two paint colors, Rich Garnet Metallic and Sapphire Metallic, replaced by Calypso Blue Metallic and Smokey Amethyst Metallic.
For the first time, the 2024 Buick Envision offers standard all-wheel drive in the U.S. Specifically, it’s a twin-clutch AWD system. The turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY engine will remain the sole powertrain available in the 2024 Envision.
Consequently, the pricing uncovered for the 2024 Buick Envision shows an increase across the board. The Preferred trim starts at $37,295, ST begins at $39,795, and Avenir starts at $48,395. All of these prices include the destination freight charge (DFC), which remains at $1,395. Check out 2024 Envision pricing with options and packages.
The 2024 Buick Envision will get a short model year, with production of the 2025 Envision scheduled to start on August 5th at the GM China SAIC-GM Jinqiao South plant shortly after the launch of the U.S.-spec 2024 model year.
The online configurator tool is live for the 2023 Envision and now live for the 2024 Envision.

How much is that in Chinese Yuan?
As usual, a deceptive gm authority headline, 2023 models only. Maybe plenty available as many people don’t want a gm vehicle 100% made in China. The Chinese have stolen all the technology & intellectual property they need from gm & others to build autos with no more joint ventures or foreign ownership of factories. End is near for a profit center for gm & others.
Many people? 99% who buy this class of vehicle have zero idea where it is built and don’t care. I am happy for it to be built overseas if it means it will cost less. Maybe it will make the greedy unions come to terms they are one of the big factors of vehicle costs increasing so much. I would rather save money and have it built over seas, and most buyers I bet feel the same with how expensive it is. Something needs to be done and overseas or across the boarder built vehicles just might help that…
Buick has no issues with the Envision sales, or any of the Korean made models for that matter it’s a strong model for them and they are simply adding incentives to move the ’23 models out for the ’24 models.
These are 2023 leftovers, an unrefreshed model!!! Some of them probably are also missing features due to last year’s “supply chain issues,” for which GM only takes $250 off the sticker for important but omitted features. They need to put a LOT more cash on the hood than $2750 to move these. (The add’l $750 is only for certain non-GM owners — misguided incentive).
GM Authority should know better than to use the new 2024 Envision photos in a story about the former generation 2023 Envision. Please change them to images of the ’23 Envision.
The 2023 looks far better.
