A GMC Hummer EV Fan Created This Awesome LEGO Model

We sometimes come across vehicle-related matters that are so out of the ordinary we need to share them with you, our readership – and in this case we’ve got a remarkable LEGO GMC Hummer EV built by a GM Authority reader who goes by the handle “QB” to show you.
QB used 675 individual LEGO pieces to construct his LEGO GMC Hummer EV, but wasn’t content to stop there – he also made LEGO rocks for it to climb, a DC fast charger, and other accessories, bringing the total to 971 pieces for the whole project.
QB describes his LEGO creation by saying “I designed a LEGO HUMMER EV. It’s not as fancy as the huge Technic version you featured a couple years ago, but I think my design stands on its own merits: it has removable roof panels, a functional tailgate, and comes with posable off-road scenery.” He adds that “it even has a DCFC station” and that “the smaller size makes it more approachable/affordable.”
The LEGO Technic version we shared a video of in 2021 was able to be driven with remote control, use its Crabwalk steering, and actually raise and lower its suspension at the correct scale. However, as noted, QB’s Hummer is more accessible and still captures the vehicle’s unique look, as you can see in this 360 degree view:
Another short clip shows the QB Hummer in a different color:
As can be seen, the LEGO model includes the removable Infinity Roof (RPO code CC3), though the Sky Panels are not transparent in this case. The panels can be stowed in the front trunk, and the interior even includes a cup holder as well as adjustable seats. QB says his model of the GMC Hummer EV Pickup can be readily built with two interior colorways, Lunar Horizon (color code H9Z) or Lunar Shadow (color code HAS).
His design can also be constructed with six different exterior colors, including the equivalents to the blue Supernova Metallic (GKK) and the orange Afterburner Tintcoat (GC5) shown in the 360-degree views. The exterior can be fitted with black or red tow hooks, includes a functional tailgate, and can simulate different suspension mode heights by adding or removing plates.
The LEGO Hummer EV also comes with a detailed fast charging station with a flexible cable and a “credit card reader,” accessories like a spare tire carrier and a tonneau cover, and of course the boulders, one of which includes a model crab to represent the Crabwalk feature.
Fans can show their support of QB’s build on the Hummer EV’s LEGO Ideas page.
