2025 Corvette Z06 Won’t Offer These Two Wheels

Earlier this month, GM Authority covered the most popular wheels of the 2024 Corvette‘s three variants as of April 1st, 2024. With that in mind, it appears as though two rollers of the Corvette Z06 that ranked mid-pack will now be dropped for the 2025 Corvette Z06.

GM Authority has learned that the 2025 Corvette Z06 will lose two wheel options for the upcoming model year, including (relevant RPO code in parenthesis):

  • 20-inch front and 21-inch rear Spider design, Satin Graphite forged aluminum wheel (SOC)
  • 20-inch front and 21-inch rear Spider design, machined-face forged aluminum wheel (SOD)

It’s worth noting that these two wheels were optional on the 2024 Corvette Z06, where SOC cost $485, and SOD was priced at $1,495.

For the fresh model year, the 2025 Corvette Z06 will gain a number of wheel options, including (relevant RPO code in parenthesis):

  • 20-inch front and 21-inch rear Spider design, Pearl Nickel forged aluminum wheel (SRK)
  • 20-inch front and 21-inch rear Spider design, Gloss Black forged aluminum wheel (SRN)
  • 20-inch front and 21-inch rear Spider design, Polished forged aluminum wheel (STE)
  • 20-inch front and 21-inch rear Spider design, Bright Polished forged aluminum wheel with Carbon Flash-painted pockets (STX)

Notably, these four new rollers will be offered on all C8 Z06 trim levels (1LZ, 2LZ, and 3LZ) for both coupe and convertible configurations.

In other 2025 Corvette-related news, GM Authority recently reported that America’s sports car will lose a total of seven paint colors and gain three others, receive the Habanero interior colorway, and will be highlighted by the arrival of the hotly anticipated Corvette ZR1.

As a reminder, the Chevy Corvette Z06 features the naturally aspirated 5.5L V8 LT6 gasoline engine, which develops 670 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. Output is routed to the rear wheels via the GM eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Under the skin lies the GM Y2 platform, while production takes place exclusively at the GM Bowling Green plant in Kentucky.

  5. Do they still offer the CF wheels. I have two sets of wheels for my 2023 ZO6. The CF ones and Spider forged aluminum i thought in Satin Graphite, what ever they are they look great with the exposed CF aero. Great if they stopped making both of my wheels. Now if they would get rid of Red Mist. Love it but getting to be a lot around.

  8. The new wheels look really, really bad. I didn’t realize until now they were replacing the much better looking current Z06 wheels. Smooth move, GM.
