The 2025 Chevy Equinox debuts the all-new fourth generation for the Equinox nameplate, bringing with it a wide array of updates and changes. These enhancements include refreshed styling, both inside and out, as well as larger infotainment screens and the introduction of the new Activ trim level. Now, fans and prospective buyers can personalize the 2025 Chevy Equinox using the official online configurator tool at Chevrolet’s website.
The 2025 Chevy Equinox is offered in three trim levels, starting with the base LT and followed by the adventurous Activ and sporty RS. Pricing for the LT starts at $29,995, while both the Activ and RS trims are priced at $34,395, destination freight charge included. Each trim is equipped as standard with front-wheel drive, with all-wheel drive available as an option for an additional $2,000.
Further standout options for the 2025 Chevy Equinox include the Convenience Package (RPO code ZQ3), which is priced at either $2,050 or $2,200, depending on the inclusion of a sunroof and roof rails. Another notable option is the Safety and Technology Package (RPO code CWN), available for $1,085 across all three trims. The Midnight Edition Package (RPO code WN5) can be added for $895 or $1,045, again depending on whether or not a sunroof and roof rails are included.
In terms of exterior aesthetics, several premium paint options are available. Iridescent Pearl Tricoat (paint code G1W) is offered for $995, while Radiant Red Tintcoat (paint code GNT) is available for $495, allowing customers to further personalize their Equinox.
The 2025 Chevy Equinox is equipped as standard with the turbocharged 1.5L I4 LSD gasoline engine, which is paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) when equipped with front-wheel drive, or the GM eight-speed automatic transmission for all-wheel drive units. The engine delivers 175 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 184 pound-feet of torque at 2,000 rpm for front-wheel-drive configurations, or 203 pound-feet of torque at 2,000 rpm for all-wheel-drive versions. Notably, the 2025 Chevy Equinox returns slightly lower fuel economy compared to the 2024 model-year.
Riding on the GM D2 platform, the 2025 Chevy Equinox is produced at the GM San Luis Potosí plant in Mexico.

When are new 2025 models in dealer showrooms?
Anyone else find it strange there’s no Bose audio option? The Nox has always had a premium sound (not always Bose) option since the beginning, and even the Trailblazer offers Bose. If this 6 speaker system is the same as the current gen, it’s terrible. Surprisingly, the 7 speaker Bose in the current model is excellent.
I love how they force you to purchase the $1085 safety and tech package, how your only interior color choice is black unless you spend 2200 extra for the fake leather package and how they deleted the 8-way power seat and overhead sunglasses holder from the base LT. Also what is the explanation for two MPG drops from 2023 to 2025. The first was becasue the engine designation changed from 2022 to 2023 and now with the same motor and a new 8 speed or CVT there is yeat another mileage drop. Very suspicious
Yeah it’s pretty awesome. You get heated seats and heated steering wheel and a manual drivers seat. Unless you pay the $2200 for the convenience package which includes the Evotex the sunglasses holder and homelink. The 2025 pushes you into a $35K MSRP if you want to keep the same torque, traditional automatic and a power drivers seat that the 2024 had.
The ash gray interior evotec seats have trim whereas the black interior doesn’t have any offsetting trim. RS upgrade has nice red contrast trim.
I also found it disappointing that there was no audio upgrade. My 2021 Colorado stock system is not very good and I don’t want to make the same mistake again. This may be a deal breaker for us and going with the CRV Hybrid.
