GM Authority recently reported that the 2025 Chevy Blazer EV will lose a paint color for the upcoming model year. However, the Bow Tie all-electric crossover will be available with new painted roof options.
GM Authority has learned that the 2025 Blazer EV will be offered with two painted roof options. For starters, the Black roof (color code 41T) feature will be available on LT and RS trim levels, and in conjunction with all paint colors except Black (color code GBA) for obvious reasons.
As for the second option, the Summit White roof (color code 09T) will be available on the LT, but not the RS, and requires opting for the Black (color code GBA), Riptide Blue Metallic (color code GJV) or Radiant Red Tintcoat (color code GNT) paint colors.
It’s worth noting that no pricing information has yet been released.
In other 2025 Chevy Blazer EV-related developments, GM Authority recently reported that the all-electric crossover’s 2LT equipment group will be renamed 4LT, and will be equipped with Black cloth seat upholstery as standard. In addition, the Convenience and Driver Confidence Package (RPO code WPN) and the Comfort and Convenience Package (RPO code ZFT) will no longer be required for Blazer EV LT units. In regard to specifics, all features in the first package will now be equipped as standard across the lineup, while the second package will be offered as a standalone option. Meanwhile, new Midnight/Sport Edition packages will be available, adding a sportier appearance to the Blazer EV LT.
As a reminder, the Chevy Blazer EV is underpinned by the GM BEV3 platform and draws motivation from GM Ultium battery and GM Ultium Drive motor technologies. Meanwhile, production of the 2025 model year is currently scheduled to kick off in June 2024 at the GM Ramos Arizpe plant in Mexico.

I could see white being popular in places like Phoenix. It would increases both comfort and range.
I remember when White and Black roofs (separately from the main color) was a British only thing. It was common on MINIs and Land Rovers (especially the Defenders). Now its so common even the Koreans are in on it.
