2025 Chevy Blazer EV To Offer Midnight And Sport Edition Packages

With production of the upcoming model year currently scheduled to get under way next month, the 2025 Chevy Blazer EV will introduce several updates and changes over the 2024 model year. With that in mind, the Bow Tie all-electric crossover will add a new appearance package.

The 2025 Chevy Blazer EV will feature the Midnight / Sport Edition package (RPO code WJU) for the new model year. Only offered on the LT eAWD, the package will include (relevant RPO code in parenthesis):

  • 19-inch Black aluminum wheels (Q6M)
  • High Gloss Black roof rails (V2P)
  • Black bowties and badging
  • Dark Chrome trim on HVAC vents
  • Black Cloth interior (E2H)

It’s worth noting that if prospective buyers also opt for the Comfort and Convenience Package (RPO code ZFT), the Black Cloth interior is replaced with the Black Evotex (color code H7D) interior.

No images or pricing details have been released yet.

In other 2025 Blazer EV-related developments, GM Authority recently reported that the all-electric crossover will lose the Red Hot (color code G7C) exterior paint color, which will leave just seven total color options on offer. While there is currently no direct replacement for the paint hue, the Blazer EV will be available in another red shade, namely Radiant Red Tintcoat (color code GNT).

Additionally, the 2LT equipment group will be renamed the Chevy Blazer EV 4LT. Also, the Convenience and Driver Confidence Package (RPO code WPN) and the Comfort and Convenience Package (RPO code ZFT) will no longer be required as standard fare on the Bow Tie electric vehicle.

As a reminder, the Chevy Blazer EV is underpinned by the GM BEV3 platform – which it shares with the Cadillac Lyriq and Chevy Equinox EV – and is powered by GM Ultium battery and GM Ultium Drive motor technologies. Meanwhile, production will kick off soon at the GM Ramos Arizpe plant in Mexico.
