2025 Buick Enclave Coupe Rendered As Sporty 4-Door Crossover: Photos

Lately, GM Authority has been exploring what several General Motors products would look like if they were offered in the trendy “crossover coupe” configuration, such as our rendition of a sportier 2024 GMC Acadia fastback. While the Detroit-based automaker has been lagging behind in this German-dominated niche, we felt the need to render our interpretation of a 2025 Buick Enclave Coupe.

For reference, the crossover coupe body style is highlighted by a tall CUV body with a sloping rear roofline, which gives the vehicle a fastback-like profile. Luxury European automakers already offer a number of vehicles in the segment, including the BMW X6, the Sportback version of the Audi Q5, and the “coupe” variants of the Mercedes GLC and GLE, to name but a few.

With that in mind, our rendering is based on the upcoming 2025 Buick Enclave and features a sloping rear end for a unique take on the crossover’s styling. What makes this particular render stand out as compared to some of our other crossover coupe examples lies in the cabin, where there are only two rows of seating. As such, this Enclave Coupe would match up with the Mazda CX-70, the Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport and two-row Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Of course, this body style is a controversial topic among enthusiasts and purists who insist that anything called a “coupe” can only have two doors. However, it’s been already been proven that there’s a sizable pool of prospective buyers who like the sportier look of crossovers with sloping, coupe-like rooflines, and they’re willing to pay more for the premium.

As of the time of this writing, General Motors only offers a single vehicle in the crossover coupe segment, the Buick Envista. That being said, an Enclave Coupe would slot into the Buick lineup nicely as a larger and more premium alternative to smaller Envista, itself a notable sales success.

Outside of the Envista, The General is shuffling its feet in regard to the crossover coupe trend, especially on the luxury side. Although there are no Cadillac models filling this niche, the Cadillac XT4, Cadillac XT5 and Cadillac XT6 could be potential candidates for this “coupe-ification”. However, there doesn’t appear to be any indication that this will happen anytime soon, which didn’t prevent us from imaging a few years ago what an XT6 Coupe would look like.

  1. Looks like a refreshed Trax. Ummm, NO!

    1. I was thinking if a Traiblazer (current gen.) and a Trax had a baby LOL

      1. It’s got four doors so there’s nothing even remotely coupe about it. It would be best for GM Authority to stick to reporting and let GM stylists handle the designing.

  2. I think there are “two” many doors to call this a coupe.

Ha.. see what I did there? But seriously guys a coupe has two doors it’s not just a slanted back end. Do it right.

  3. STOP with the renderings already…we have enough fake news in our daily lives.

We come here for actual news from GM…not editorial opinions from your writers.

  4. Yep, a coupe is a two door, preferably a long forgotten hardtop

  5. I think they need the Envision “Plus” (that is, something between the Envision and the Enclave) before they need an Enclave “Coupe.”

  6. Not a bad looking vehicle for the current market.

  8. Christopher that’s something I can agree with you about The envision Plus they should bring it here from China but I don’t think GM will bring it here. China seems to get all the good stuff now and the USA is second best… It’s a shame! But something like this could possibly work for Buick it doesn’t look bad but that all depends on if people are going to buy it or not if they actually ever build something like this.

  9. I liked the Acadia render on this theme, but this just does not have the drama a Buick needs. The entry-level Envista SCHOOLS this half-hearted attempt at what could be.

  10. For all intent and purpose, the North American market “opinions” are of little concern…and have little influence with Buick.

If the Chinese want something in a vehicle, (…like this thing…) it very likely would be built.

  11. Gm, a company with 4 brands, needs diversity in design with only brand copying the Germans. Audi, BMW, Benz do great in China so that isn’t a problem for Buick. Also, US and Chinese Enclaves are unique with US variant always bigger.
Ideally, Enclave (or Arcadia) would come in 2 and 3 row variants like Grand Cherokee
