Deliveries of the 2024 GMC Hummer EV Omega Edition have started, with GM indicating that the special edition vehicles are available today at dealerships even as the final units are simultaneously being produced.
Previously, GMC said that deliveries of the Omega Edition of the 2024 GMC Hummer EV would begin in the first half of 2024, and now it appears that Big Red has managed to make good on that promise.
First unveiled in May 2023, the Omega Edition was always planned as a limited-edition vehicle variant that would not return for future model years. Now The General has confirmed just how limited it will be, with total production amounting to just 2,000 SUVs and pickups in all, making it a collector vehicle straight off the assembly line.
Eye-catching, exclusive Neptune Blue Matte exterior paint (color code GLG) instantly sets the Omega Edition (RPO code WFP) apart from the rest of the model’s lineup. The Omega Edition is essentially an appearance package with the addition of desirable options such as the Extreme Off-Road Package (RPO code Z6X) and the Infinity Roof with Transparent Sky Panels (RPO code CC3).
The Extreme Off-Road Package makes the Omega Edition more competent in cross-country driving, provided the owner is prepared to risk its unique paint. Among other included items are mud-terrain tires, full underbody skid plates, electronically locking front and rear differentials, underbody cameras, rocker protectors, and more.
The Omega Edition can be ordered in conjunction with both the Hummer EV SUV and the Hummer EV Pickup configurations for the 2024 model year. The starting price is set at $150,295 for the Pickup and $140,295 for the SUV, including the destination freight charge. These MSRPs are considerably higher than the base pricing for the rest of the Hummer EV variants.

As a reminder, all variants of the 2024 GMC Hummer EV ride on the GM BT1 platform. Production is just now wrapping up at the GM Factory Zero plant in Michigan.

“Omega”; essentially means the end of something, the last, the ultimate limit of a set, or the “Great End.”
