2024 Chevy Silverado EV Configurator Live

Per GM Authority coverage from May 2024, production of the 2024 Chevy Silverado EV RST First Edition recently kicked off, meaning that the Bow Tie brand’s high-performance all-electric pickup will be hitting American roads soon. With that in mind, the range-topping Silverado EV‘s online configurator is now live and ready for exploring.

As of the time of this writing, only the RST First Edition is available to play around with. However, that being said, there’s not much configuration to be done outside of adding some dealer-installed accessories and opting between two paint colors.

As a reminder, the 2024 Silverado EV RST First Edition sits atop the totem pole for the all-electric truck, and boasts goodies likes the Multi-Flex Tailgate and the Midgate, a panoramic fixed glass roof, an 11-inch digital Driver Information Center, a 17.7-inch touchscreen, four-wheel steering, and the GM Super Cruise drive assist system as standard equipment.

In regard to performance, the RST First Edition utilizes GM Ultium batteries and GM Ultium Drive motor technologies to produce up to 754 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque when in the Wide Open Watts or “WOW” mode. An all-wheel drivetrain helps the RST First Edition sprint to 60 mph in roughly 4.5 seconds. The driving range rating currently stands at 440 miles on a full charge.

Under the body panels, the Chevy Silverado EV rides on the narrow-body variant of the GM BT1 platform, which it shares with the GMC Sierra EV. Of course, the wide-body version of the BT1 architecture underpins the Hummer EV Pickup and Hummer EV SUV. Production takes place at the GM Factory Zero plant in Michigan, while pricing for the RST First Edition starts at $96,495.

For those who want an up-close-and-personal tour of the Silverado RST First Edition’s exterior, GM Authority Executive Editor Alex Luft recently gave his impressions of the Bow Tie brand’s all-electric pickup truck.

  1. It would be nice to give one pesky link to the actual website. How stupid.

    1. Speaking of stupid, I wonder where a person might be able to find the configurator for a new Chevrolet Silverado EV. Oh wait, I bet Chevrolet’s web site.

      1. If gm authority wants to do a write up about it, they should post a link to it. Only common sense. Sure we can go to Chevrolet website, but why not post a link in the write up article? It is stupid not to.
