Nearly a year and a half after announcing Cadillac’s refreshed subcompact crossover in the region, General Motors has just officially launched the 2024 Cadillac XT4 in the Middle East.
The Cadillac Middle East team launched the refreshed 2024 Cadillac XT4 in the region’s countries earlier this week during an official event in the United Arab Emirates, where it first introduced the refreshed model to the regional press and public. The 2024 XT4 will go on sale on June 15th across the brand’s dealer network in the Middle East, where it specifically aims to win over millennials and young families.
“The Middle East is known for its young, tech-savvy and ambitious population,” said Managing Director, Cadillac International Operation and Cadillac Middle East, Omar Elkhishin. “We’re excited to be bringing the new 2024 Cadillac XT4, a vehicle that has the style, the comfort and the technology that particularly caters to young millennials and families, who believe in seizing the opportunity,” he added.
In particular, the refreshed 2024 Cadillac XT4 arrives in Middle East countries with a line-up comprised of three distinctive trim levels: Luxury, Premium Luxury and Sport. The mid-cycle update raises the bar on the XT4’s appeal and refinement with a new front-end design in line with the brand’s latest launches, as well as a much more technological interior with the class-leading 33-inch 9K curved display.
All versions of the refreshed 2024 Cadillac XT4 come standard with the same powertrain that’s been present since the nameplate’s introduction, the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY engine producing 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, mated to GM’s nine-speed automatic transmission. The Luxury trim gets standard FWD, while the Premium Luxury and Sport include AWD.
The refreshed 2024 Cadillac XT4 will be available for sale later this week in Middle East countries, starting with the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The subcompact crossover features a wealth of advanced safety features and assists, as well as state-of-the-art technology systems and a 14-speaker AKG Studio audio system. Units of the 2024 XT4 for the region are coming from the GM Fairfax plant in Kansas.

interesting how theyre launching the XT4 and using Kansas built units when production will be paused for the EV retooling, I wonder if the pause will either be short or if they will simply crank out enough cars to last the length of the pause
The sales on these are a little on the slow side so we probably won’t notice the pause in production.
