This Clean 1967 Chevy Chevelle Restomod Packs An LT1 V8: Video

The Chevy Chevelle is very much a muscle car icon, and with that in mind, modifications and modern upgrades should be applied with a deft touch. This particular 1967 Chevelle is a good example of that. Pieced together by All Speed Customs, a performance shop based in Muskegon Heights, Michigan, this build takes the Chevelle to new heights, but without straying too far from the original formula, keeping it clean and simple, as seen in the following feature video.

First things first, this 1967 Chevy Chevelle underwent a full frame-off restoration, ensuring every inch of the car was meticulously refurbished. A set of RideTech suspension bits, including a four-link setup in the rear and StrongArm components in the front, combined with coilovers all around, provide a comfortable, yet responsive ride.

Under the hood lies the 6.2L V8 LT1 engine, sourced from a 2018 Chevy Camaro. Output is rated at 455 horsepower and 455 pound-feet of torque, all of which is routed through a six-speed manual Tremec T-56 Magnum transmission, providing a hands-on driving experience.

To complement the upgraded suspension and engine, All Speed Customs installed Wilwood disc brakes, featuring six-piston calipers in the front and four-piston calipers in the rear, ensuring this Chevelle can stop as well as it goes. The braking system is further enhanced with drilled and slotted rotors.

Visually, the Chevelle can definitely turn heads thanks to an impressive midnight blue pearl paint job. This color was originally an OEM Porsche hue, and provides the Chevelle with a unique and captivating appearance. The interior maintains a classic look with modern amenities, including reupholstered front and rear seats, a custom-built center console, and Dakota Digital gauges that blend vintage aesthetics with modern functionality.

Other notable interior upgrades include a Vintage Air climate control system, a RetroSound audio system with a subwoofer and amplifier, and an Ididit tilt steering column.
