The 2025 model year brings with it several updates and changes for the mid-engine C8 Corvette, including a variety of new custom styling options. Among the new styling options is the introduction of a new 10-spoke wheel design for the 2025 Corvette Z06. The new wheels were recently showcased at the 2024 Michelin NCM Bash at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky, offering enthusiasts a fresh look for the 2025 Corvette Z06.
Chevy Corvette / Chevy Camaro Product Marketing Manager Harlan Charles provided the first detailed look at these wheels during his presentation at the NCM. The 2025 Corvette Z06 10-spoke wheels will be available in four distinct finishes: Mask / Polish (RPO code STX), Gloss Black (RPO code SRN), Fully Polished (RPO code STE), and Pearl Nickel (RPO code SRK). Each finish complements the 10-spoke, star-shaped design, which features thin spokes that likely enhance the visibility of the Z06’s impressive brake package.
The new wheels aren’t the only updates for the 2025 Corvette. The latest model year also introduces several new features and design enhancements, including three new exterior paint options and a vibrant new interior colorway called Habanero, the latter of which adds a striking reddish-orange hue to the C8 cabin.
Additional updates include blue custom leather stitching for the Jet Black interior colorway, joining the existing Adrenaline Red (RPO code 38S) and Yellow (RPO code 36S) stitching options available for the 3LT and 3LZ trims. The 2025 Corvette also introduces Velocity Yellow painted brake calipers, likely replacing the current Edge Yellow calipers, which should pair nicely with the new Competition Yellow Tintcoat paint option. Moreover, the C8 Corvette Stingray’s Z51 Performance Package will now feature a revised spoiler, adding to the vehicle’s aerodynamic capabilities and visual appeal.
Finally, the new C8 ZR1, the latest top-dog performer in the C8 lineup, is expected to debut in the 2025 model year.
Under the hood, the 2025 Corvette Z06 retains the naturally aspirated 5.5L LT6 V8 engine, delivering an astounding 670 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. All C8 Corvette variants ride on the GM Y2 platform and are assembled at the GM Bowling Green facility, designated as the exclusive production facility for the C8.

I think they are atrocious and definitely a step back from the current spider design.
I thought so also until I say the all gloss black version and loved it
How about chrome
Tell me you are in your 70’s without telling me you are in your 70’s.
What a twit comment. Some jerks feel compelled to volunteer personal swipes to ego-sate .
Ya, Izzy the reason I hardly visit the Authority anymore. Can’t stick to the topics without being rude and condescending.
Tell us your a dick without telling us your a dick! Kenny Nash ABE ENTERTAINMENT knows one!
My 2014 SS has the same amount of torque as HP. Why does the Zo6 have 210 less?
Horsepower = torque x RPM / 5252
So for any engine, at 5252 rpm the hp and tq are the same. Hp will peak shortly after 5252 rpm usually (torque starts dropping a little and redline comes soon) and torque seems to usually peak a little before 5252 rpm, leaving most cars with similar torque and HP numbers.
The Z06 (and every other high revving car) gets more hp at higher rpm, so when it’s revving near it’s 8600rpm redline, the equation above gives us a lot higher hp than torque. Let me know if that doesn’t clear it up for ya and I’ll try to explain more
Got it, thanks!
Yeah, how about chrome?
I hate the damn interior design.
Wheels looks great – – STE finish is real nice. Gives them a Hot Wheels look.
I ordered my zo6 with the SRN all black wheel.
Can’t wait for our 2025 Z06. Our first new GM vehicle since 2003.
My zo6 will be built week of 9-16. Been waiting almost 3 years. sold my 2021 a couple of weeks age . I kinda have lost all the excitment about the Zo6 but hope that changes when i get it. The standard C8 is such a nice car.
Paid 61900 for the 2021 and 130000 for the 2025 ouch
Me myself, I love the interior design. Very much like the separation with the exotic looking button options.
So far, the “wall of buttons” stays. Folks love’m or hate’m. They are very easy for the driver to use once the functions are established in muscle memory. For the passenger they are somewhat isolating and functionally, if the passenger is getting comfortable with their left arm on the rest tends to bump the passenger side temperature toggle. Spitting the cabin temperature settings more than a degree or two the environmental control system goes into hyperdrive trying to maintain two different temps in a small volume. First time that happens has you looking around trying to figure out what all the fan noise is about.
Not the first look, seen these 2 months ago! And let me say, just by looking at pictures of the wheels, they look ok. BUT, on the car, it’s a whole different story! the wheels look awesome! I actually thought they were aftermarket wheels when I first saw them on a C8 Z06, just found out that these will actually be factory wheels, nice! Definitely makes up for the first C8 wheels! 🤦🏽♂️👍
I hate the mid engine design. The mid engine belongs in a Ferrari not a Corvette. The large front engine compartment and long front end are iconic features of the original corvette design and to change that completely guts the soul of the car.
Oh Kelly – some of us do prefer other looks. I recently bought an ultra low mileage C6 GS, because I prefer the smoothness of the lines. But there’s zero doubt, that each subsequent generation brought its own new level of technical evolution superiority. To expect GM to cling to designs of old, would mean our forward view would forever look like a horse’s arse.
How about chrome?
I applaud the C8 for it’s performance but in my opinion is not a good looking car. I don’t understand the styling as it doesn’t look good from most angles. I had a C7, even the ass on that car could have been improved. And I haven’t seen a good looking stock wheel yet for the C8. I just don’t get the design philosophy. Come on, coffee brown and cacti green colors? Just my 2 cents.
I agree with PM. While I admire and am envious of the mid-engine architecture, the styling puts me south of enthusiasm. I find the black trim pieces overwhelming and distracting. Even those with the body color trim option, have the sharp angularity that started with the C7. But then again, that’s just me – no stripes, graphics, and doo-dads. Enough folks like this C8, to keep the selling prices well above a rational depreciation for similar age used cars. So, make it your own…
First of all. I think Chevy should build a real Vette, instead of a Ferrari knock off. This new car isn’t a Vette. As for wheels, this is no more than polishing a turd. At the end of the day, it’s still a turd. The premiere American sports car was made a cheap, ugly knock off of the European cars. Great f**king move. I’ve never been more disgusted.
I agree! It looks like a choppy Tonka Toy!
Jake – Ferrari and some other European car manufacturers, now aspire to reach the performance and value of a Corvette, regardless of style appeal. That value is underscored by the Ferrari and other uber pricey wannabes, getting their butts flamed by Chevy in global sports car competition for the last 10 years. And, for a LOT less bucks, than Euros.
What does that mean build a real vette. Chevrolet has sold over 50,000 C8’s. I assume these folks don’t agree with your remarks concerning turd, ugly European knock off. I just don’t get the hate.
My son just told me my statement previously needed clarification. Sentence should read Chevrolet had sold over 50,000 C8 Corvettes in 2023.
The 2025 C8 zo6 as for the current C8 zo6 should of have 705 horsepower (they came up short in horsepower with this current zo6) like the previous C7 zo6 should of been 605 horsepower.
What is the significance of 705 vice 670HP. Does 705 hp have some special meaning in auto history.
This is a loser car bottom of the barrel Joe Dirt special!!! Supercar owners laugh at you posers. Nissan’s smoke this 100k piece of plastic. That’s pretty bad. Merica made by douches, for Douches, so you can look like a real Douche.
Spoken like a diehard 1998 Volvo owner…
Wow, name calling……sign of a limited vocabulary and education. Maybe some envy in there for those who can afford a Corvette? Whispers from your parents basement? My friend who owns several supercars has 2 Corvettes in his collection, one a new Z06.
In any case, you are entitled to your very minority opinion. Corvette has been the fastest selling vehicle in the US since the C-8 was introduced.
Let me guess you are a Porsche fan boy. We get it. Haters got to hate.
I guess there are still some out there that don’t know the Zora story with regard to a Mid-Engine car. When the C7 got to the point where there’s nothing further the engineers could do to or with the car performance wise it was time for change and big change. Maybe one should not knock a Mid-Ship design and understand the story as to why the car went from long nose front engine to mid-engine..
Oh, by the way I may have the wheels on my 25 car chrome plated?. Am I also giving my age away? And Ricky B is a real D.bag, isn’t he.
Have a great day guys!
