Confirmed for the region during its global debut in August 2022, General Motors has just announced the official arrival of the new 2024 GMC Canyon AT4X to the Middle East.
The automaker’s Middle East subsidiary officially launched the new 2024 GMC Canyon AT4X in the main countries of the region, after a notable delay in the regional introduction that had initially been scheduled for the second half of 2023. Finally, the Canyon AT4X made its debut in the United Arab Emirates as the brand’s most advanced mid-size off-road pickup and will be available during the summer months.
“The all-new GMC Canyon AT4X is our most advanced, off-road midsize truck, and is set to upset the midsize truck segment when it makes its showroom debut later this summer,” said President and Managing Director of GM Africa & Middle East, Jack Uppal. “We’re thrilled to be able to bring it our valued Middle East customers. With this newest addition to our line-up, we’re offering a new driving experience for adventure enthusiasts across the region,” he added.
As initially announced, the new 2024 GMC Canyon arrives in the Middle East exclusively with the range-topping AT4X trim level, along with a substantial amount of off-road-focused equipment. In fact, the 2024 Canyon AT4X will be marketed as an “uncompromising premium” midsize truck.
In addition to its generous list of features dedicated to off-road and cutting-edge technology, the 2024 GMC Canyon AT4X comes standard with the 2.7L I4 L3B turbocharged TurboMax engine that develops 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque, mated exclusively to GM’s next-generation eight-speed automatic transmission. Naturally, all Canyon AT4X units include 4WD as standard.
The new 2024 GMC Canyon AT4X has just officially arrived in the Middle East countries and will be available for sale at GMC dealerships in the region at the end of summer. All availability and pricing details for the 2024 Canyon AT4X in each country can be consulted on the official GMC Arabia site. Notably, the GMC Canyon is the company’s only midsize pickup offered in this region of Southwest Asia.

You can send these trucks faster to the Middle East! Canada should become the Middle East and maybe just maybe my Caynon will arrive sooner. Just saying your shipping sucks for a North American produced truck!
You can send a Colorado/Canyon to the Middle East but you can’t find one on a lot in the US ? What an embarrassment. I finally saw one in two years being unloaded at dealer last week and only one on the road between Pittsburgh and Columbus. Shipping over seas must be faster !
GM, what the HELL are you doing to US customers? You are the biggest joke in the room. You can’t produce what you advertise and what you do produce goes immediately back to your uniformed dealers. No communication, no progress and your software has more bugs than it does features. You’re an absolute embarrassment and it should be illegal for you to treat customers this way. Get the trucks out the door. Do the right thing and make it right in the US before any other country. THIS is your base, your core. Lose us, you lose it all.
