The automaker’s subsidiary in Peru launched the new 2024 Chevy Captiva XL this week in the city of Lima, introducing the mid-cycle refresh of the second-generation model to that country’s domestic market. “The new Captiva XL represents our commitment to providing mobility solutions that align with new trends and needs,” said General Manager of GM Peru, Marco Kohatsu. “In a context where consumers increasingly value comfort, safety and versatility in their vehicles, we are committed to offering products that exceed their expectations and adapt to their lifestyle,” he added.

In particular, the new 2024 Chevy Captiva is launched in Peru with a total of four configurations across the distinctive LTZ and Prime equipment levels, a local variant of the range-topping Premier trim gets a name change for the Peruvian market. The base versions of both trims include a six-speed manual transmission, while the more-equipped ones receive a continously variable automatic.
