While the No. 22 Ford Mustang Dark Horse of Joey Logano celebrated the All-Star Race win at North Wilkesboro on May 19th, 2024, two NASCAR Chevy drivers had quite the dustup in the hauler lot after the race. Ricky Stenhouse Jr., frustrated with Kyle Busch’s conduct on track, waited around for almost two hours to take a shot at Busch after the checkered flag waved.
The conflict stemmed from an incident on Lap 2. Stenhouse’s No. 47 NASCAR Chevy Camaro ZL1 tried to split the middle, going three-wide with Busch’s No. 8 Camaro on the outside lane. The two race cars made contact, and Busch felt as though he’d been wronged. Busch then went after Stenhouse, ramming his rear bumper several times before sending the No. 47 Camaro into the outside wall.
Stenhouse’s race car was critically damaged in the impact, and in retaliation, he drove it onto Pit Road and parked it in Busch’s stall for track safety workers to collect and tow away. Stenhouse exited his car and climbed into Busch’s pit box to have words with crew chief Randall Burnett before storming away.
After the race, Stenhouse waited near Busch’s hauler to confront him. The two exchanged words before Stenhouse threw a punch, igniting a brawl between the two NASCAR Chevy crews before they were pulled apart.
“I’m going to wreck you at Charlotte,” Stenhouse told Busch, to which the latter driver replied, “Bring it. I suck just as bad as you.”
At this time, NASCAR has not announced penalties to either driver, but it’s possible that Stenhouse and Busch could be suspended or fined for their postrace actions.

“The conflict stemmed from an incident on Lap 2.” I don’t think it was from lap 2. The way the 47 has been racing KB in the past. This has been brewing for some time. He had it coming. I’m surprised kB took this long to retaliate
