Some vehicles are great at making a statement. A brand-new Cadillac makes a statement. A flashy new sports car makes a statement. This custom 1959 Chevy Apache makes a statement, too. With a slammed stance, patina exterior, and supercharged V8 under the hood, we’ll leave it up to you to decide what that statement is saying. Now, we’re diving headfirst into this custom build with the following feature video.
Blending vintage charm with modern performance, this Chevy Apache is a standout, even in a town like Las Vegas. The build was executed by the folks at Nostalgia Hot Rods.
The first thing to grab you should be the way it looks. The truck’s body retains its original patina with only minimal rust repairs, preserving its authentic vintage style. In the corners is a set of Detroit Steel wheels that were patina-matched to the rest of the truck, sized at 20 by 12 inches in the rear and 20 by 9 inches up front. There’s even 60-year-old barn wood in the bed.
The truck rides on a Roadster Shop chassis, as well as air suspension to give it the proper stance. Six-piston Baer brakes haul it down.
One of the big highlights is under the hood, where we find a fully built supercharged 6.2L V8 LSA engine producing approximately 686 horsepower at the wheels. The engine runs 10 psi of boost with aftermarket heads and a custom blower hat, with spent gasses exiting via Black Widow “neighbor haters” mufflers.
Inside this Chevy Apache, the shop installed Lexus LS400 seats with cooling and heating, complemented by German square weave carpet and a custom headliner. The truck also incorporates hidden compartments and an extended dash that integrates modern conveniences while maintaining a vintage aesthetic.
Incredibly, the whole build was completed in about 10 months – impressive for the amount of work poured into it.

Now that’s called “scraping bottom”.
All that work, make it look bad with that “paint” job lmao.
Hope the truck doesn’t encounter a pot hole. Game over.
I love the Apache body style bug I don’t like what they did to this one. Not a fan of dragging the pavement, looks dumb.
