The 2025 Chevy Malibu is powered by the turbocharged 1.5L I4 LFV gasoline engine, delivering 163 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque, paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). Production of the 2025 model will begin on July 10th, 2024, 40 days later than originally expected, and as a result, the 2025 Malibu will have a shortened overall production run.

I wouldn’t buy anything with a CVT!
What is the reason for the sharp increases on the base and RS models? Did they gain more std features again? I was dismayed to see a 2024 RS with a sticker of 27,600 and it didn’t even have a rear seat armrest and one right hand side map pocket on the seatback. Made the back seat look cheap.
