In addition to its Buick Wildcat EV concept vehicle-inspired styling, the 2025 Encore GX gets the full technology lineup introduced with the refresh. This puts Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, IntelliBeam auto high beams, Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, and Adaptive Cruise Control at the owner’s fingertips. Another standard feature for the model year is the Virtual Cockpit System.

When it comes to motivation, the 2025 Buick Encore GX is powered by the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LBP engine for the entry-level Preferred trim level configured with front-wheel drive. The LBP engine is compatible with E85 fuel, or a mixture of gasoline and ethanol, while offering the same output of 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque as the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH gasoline engine it replaces.

Also available is the turbocharged 1.3L I3 L3T gasoline engine, rated at 155 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque. This engine is not compatible with E85. Regardless of engine, cog swaps are handled by a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) for FWD variants, or the GM nine-speed automatic transmission with AWD.

The 2025 Buick Encore GX continues to be underpinned by the GM VSS-F vehicle set. Production of the crossover model takes place at the GM Bupyeong plant in South Korea.

  1. Not much better than Henry Ford, you can get it in Black oh and also White, it astonishes me that they have no people of fashion consciousness. I remember back in the ’60s and ’70s when you can get a beautiful brown velvet in your car or a red velor. Those are the days where I would call everything snazzy.

It’s also virtually impassable to get white or tan these days inside your car especially in the south where the sun breaks through the Windows and you really don’t want black leather.

I guess management is just afraid to go a little wild

  2. They took 6 pictures to illustrate the differences between the 2 colors. or maybe they wanted to show the differences between the trim levels. A lot of almost nothing
