GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate Gets Spotlight In New Video Series

GMC recently launched a series of short videos showcasing the standout features of the GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate, the pinnacle of luxury in the Sierra lineup. Each of the 15-second clips provides a snapshot of what makes this truck the range-topper. You can check out all six clips right here.

The first video sets the stage by showcasing both the GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate and the GMC Sierra AT4X. Framed as “the ultimate Denali and the ultimate off-roader,” the video emphasizes that these two models represent the pinnacle of GMC’s truck offerings. The video concludes with the message, “Don’t get any truck – get THE truck.”

In the second video, the spotlight is on the Ultimate’s powertrain. It highlights the standard naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, which delivers 420 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 460 pound-feet of torque at 4,100 rpm. To note, the range-topping Sierra 1500 also offers the 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax engine.

The third video takes viewers inside the Ultimate Sierra, showcasing its luxurious interior. The range-topper features Forge perforated leather seat trim and intricate topographical designs embedded in both the upholstery and wood trim, a nod to the Denali mountain peak.

The fourth video highlights the technology features integrated into the range-topping Sierra, focusing on the GM Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving assist system, which includes trailering assistance.

The fifth video demonstrates the versatility of the MultiPro tailgate. This innovative feature offers six different configurations, enhancing convenience and usability for various tasks, whether it’s loading, unloading, or accessing the cargo bed.

The final video showcases the Ultimate’s exterior design. It highlights the Vader chrome exterior trim and the large 13.4-inch infotainment system, which combine to give the truck a distinctive and modern appearance.

As a reminder, the GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate rides on the GM T1 platform, and is produced at the GM Fort Wayne plant in Indiana and the GM Silao plant in Mexico.

  1. Same HP/TQ output from 10 years ago, and it’s not worth $85-$90K!!! Depending on how you spec it!! I sat in one the other day, and I would not trade in my 2018 Denali with a tuned 6.2L for one! And the K2 trucks seats are way more comfortable than the T1 trucks seats.

I couldn’t stand my 2019 High Country seats, that’s one of the reason’s I went back to the K2, and also that I could tune the motor!

    1. Why do you need/want more than 420/460 on a 5500lb truck? It will haul/tow more than the rest of the truck could handle, so what’s the point? It’s as fast as a c5 when unloaded. I can’t think of anything more that’s really necessary. I just wish was a mild hybrid for camping.

  2. Will the powertrain be updated on the 2025 GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate as previously reported on GM Authority?
