Costco members often enjoy attractive discounts on select new vehicles. For the next few months, this includes the 2024 Chevy Equinox EV and 2024 Chevy Blazer EV, which are both eligible for a $1,000 discount this Spring.
The Costco Spring EV savings program kicks off on May 1st, 2024, and will remain valid through July 31st, 2024. To take advantage of the $1,000 incentive available toward the Chevy Equinox EV or Chevy Blazer EV, interested buyers must have an active Costco membership as of April 30th and register with the Costco Auto Program online or through the call center by July 31st.
Eligible customers will receive a certificate with a unique promotion code, which they must present to the Chevy dealer at the time of vehicle purchase. Vehicle delivery must be between May 1st and July 31st. Interestingly, Costco states that the Chevy Blazer EV is in fact the most requested midsize EV SUV through the Costco Auto Program.
The $1,000 incentive will be applied at the time of eligible purchase or lease and is compatible with current eligible manufacturer incentives for which buyers qualify. It’s important to note that the incentive is subject to change depending on vehicle inventory availability.
Costco notes that it does not sell automobiles or negotiate individual transactions. All vehicle sales are subject to availability and pricing prearranged with the participating franchised dealer, and certain vehicles may be excluded from the program.
Members of the Costco Auto Program have access to several other cost-savings programs as well, including 15 percent off parts and services at participating service centers, prearranged pricing on certain makes and models, access to pre-owned vehicles through associated dealers, and ways to save on RVs.

Not a bad idea. Costco clients are usually upper middle class, the target audience.
Next we’ll be seeing cut-rate EVs at Dollar-General!
Maybe Wal-Mart too . . . as a Blue-Light special for the up-scale buyer!
Montana Bob
Seems that Montana Bob likes Walmart, so he will get one of those cheap Chinese EVs at a Walmart sale soon.
Are there even going to be any Equinox EV’s available during this timeframe? If yes, there isn’t going to be many available for delivery.
The 3RS, 2RS, 3LT and 2LT trims are open for ordering, with deliveries starting this quarter. The 1LT will be coming in the second half, so may not arrive in time for this promotion.
They opened the build and orders at the end of April. You don’t need to take delivery before July 31, you just need to place the order.
Then why does the article say this “Vehicle delivery must be between May 1st and July 31st.”? In addition, at the bottom of the Costco Auto Program website it says the same thing.
So let’s do an estimated timeline: place in order today on a vehicle nobody has driven (and not available to see at any dealerships), estimated to be built in June and hoping delivered to a dealership by the end of July.
It’s going to be almost impossible to custom order an Equinox EV at this point and to participate in the Costco program by July 31st. Most that do, will have already placed an order or will have happened to find one in stock.
…but you have to buy 12 of them at a time.
