Aftermarket wheels provider Vossen Wheels has released a new series of images showcasing an upgraded GMC Hummer EV SUV riding on a set of Vossen Forged LCX-04 wheels. The photos give us an opportunity to appreciate GMC‘s all-electric off-roader with a touch of aftermarket customization. Wheel sizing is set at 24 inches in diameter.
The images feature the GMC Hummer EV SUV parked near a Florida harbor at sunset, its exterior glowing in the golden light. This specific model is painted in a unique factory color called Moonshot Green Matte (color code G7W), which is exclusive to the 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV Edition 1 trim level.
To add to its distinct look, this Hummer EV also sports red tow hooks and red badging, which provide a nice complement to the special matte paint, as well as tying together the red Vossen logos on the wheel center caps. Speaking of the wheels, these particular Vossen Forged LCX-04 rollers are finished in Brushed Gloss Clear, and measure in at 24 inches in diameter and 12 inches in width. These wheels, paired with extra-large tires, extend beyond the already broad fenders of the SUV.
Vossen offers the LCX-04 wheels in various sizes, ranging from 20 to 24 inches in diameter and 9 to 14 inches in width, with 48 different finishes to choose from. Pricing starts at $2,500 per wheel. Notably, the owner of this Hummer EV SUV has even fitted a new LCX-04 as the spare.
Providing the motivation in the GMC Hummer EV SUV Edition 1 is a three-motor GM Ultium Drive powertrain producing an impressive 830 horsepower, propelling the SUV from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds. The GM BT1 platform underpins this beast, with production taking place at the GM Factory Zero plant in Michigan.

Because the Hummer on it’s own just didn’t scream look at me enough.
Those wheels are not my cup of tea.
I’d be skeptical of putting anything aftermarket on this car. Not for nothing but 9,000 lbs is nothing to play around with.
I’m pretty sure rims with 8 lugs are rated to a certain capacity.
This is why the Escalade EV can’t be exciting.
