The Roadster Shop has unveiled yet another high-end custom build, this time with a 1955 Chevy 210 dubbed “Agent Orange.” Built as a surprise gift for a customer’s father, this 210 combines nostalgic charm with modern performance, not to mention a long list of bespoke touches that make it a real treat for the eyes and ears. Now, we’re getting an in-depth look at this slick restomod thanks to the following feature video.
Originally restored and updated by a father and son duo, the Chevy 210 has now been extensively modified by The Roadster Shop. The goal was to create a car that could comfortably handle long road tours while offering enhanced performance and modern features.
A key feature of this build is the Roadster Shop’s entry-level Spec chassis, which provides high strength and modern suspension options for a smoother and more controlled driving experience. Originally, the car was equipped with a huge number of bolt-on aftermarket components, but at the end of the day, the Spec chassis looks to outperform the lot as a singular, holistic solution.
Powering “Agent Orange” is the formidable, 755-horsepower, supercharged 6.2L V8 LT5 engine, which is paired with the 10-speed 10L90 transmission. For those readers who may be unaware, the LT5 is the same powerplant cradled by the C7-generation Chevy Corvette ZR1. Installing this powerhouse required innovative solutions, including custom 3D-printed components, to fit within the 1955 Chevy’s engine bay.
Inside the cabin, the car is outfitted with custom seats sourced from a Kia Stinger, chosen for their comfort and adjustability. Dual Vintage Air Gen 4 Magnum units were installed for climate control, including manual sliders for the controls.
Further modifications include a Wegner Serpentine Drive and billet aluminum valve covers, with a custom satin finish for the engine bay that matches the body. The braking system includes 14-inch units from Baer.

My uncle had an identical Bel-Air with the same colors. I washed it twice in 1962.
Our first family car that I can remember was a 55 Chevy. It got totaled in an icy intersection in 65, then dad got a nice used red 63 Impala 2-door hardtop. It was a great car, I really thought that the rear seat speaker was cool.
Tastefully modified. Looks great, and I suspect that it has enough performance to satisfy most folks.
I have that exact model and year car. Roughly what is the cost on a restomod similar to this with the LS3 427 500hp 6 speed manual?
Thanks
Why on earth would any one name a car or paint color
Agent Orange???? Do they know how many men, have died and are still dying 50 years later from the agent orange that was sprayed in Vietnam. I consider this a slap in the face to all those men who served In Vietnam
