GM Authority has learned that the highly anticipated C8 Corvette ZR1 will feature the same cabin design as its sibling models (Corvette C8 Stingray, C8 Z06, and C8 E-Ray), with no major interior changes expected until at least the 2026 model year. Despite initial expectations for a mid-cycle refresh to introduce various interior enhancements in conjunction with the 2025 model year, recent intel indicates that any significant cabin updates are unlikely in the near future.
Back in March, images were posted online showing a 2025-model-year Corvette Z06 parked at the GM Bowling Green facility in Kentucky. The images were quite telling, as they revealed that the 2025 Z06 would continue to incorporate the same interior layout as the current C8. The vehicle seen in the images posted in March was a capture test fleet model, which are typically used to evaluate new and upcoming vehicles by GM employees. That model displayed no signs of the anticipated cabin redesign.
As covered previously, the upcoming C8 Corvette interior overhaul is expected to eliminate the “wall of buttons” included in the current layout, while also redesigning the center console for improved functionality.
The decision to maintain the existing interior through the 2025 model year may disappoint those enthusiasts hoping for a fresh look to accompany the C8 ZR1’s enhanced performance. Despite the carryover interior, the upcoming Corvette ZR1 will still introduce significant mechanical upgrades, such as forced-induction variant of the naturally aspirated 5.5L V8 LT6 engine (dubbed the LT7), which is poised to boost power levels significantly over the Z06’s 670 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. Rumor has it the new LT7 will dole out around 850 horsepower.
In addition to a new forced-induction engine, the C8 Corvette ZR1 will also feature major aerodynamic improvements, including new air ducts, an air extractor in the hood, and a massive rear spoiler, the combination of which will ensure the ZR1 remains a top contender in the ultra-high-performance segment. Look for the C8 ZR1 to debut this Summer.

Why would they? Not going to increase / decrease sales.
The plant appears to have their hands-full as it is…IMHO.
Why add complexity and cost.
What’s wrong with the cabin??? All
Complaints I hear about always reference the Porsche 911, whose cabin is actually tackier with more plastics and is more on par with the quality of a base Camaro in terms of fit/feel. The people complaining are German fanatics that whine and bellyache how an American car can beat a German in every class yet be cheaper. Why would listen to trolls and losers?
I see nothing wrong with current interior. Works fine for me. Gm should learn from other compaines and let the c8 run unchanged till factory outpace sales. Maybe switch infotainment to new Google setup to stay modern for old folks that use factory system but most people Andriod auto or Carplay so factory infotainment system goes unused.
IMHO the first C8 to get the new interior will be the Zora.
I don’t see anything wrong with my C6 interior? And it received plenty of quality complaints.
