The automaker officially launched the entry-level Work Truck variants of the updated 2025 Chevy S10 in Brazil, which are introduced for the first time on the nameplate to expand the truck’s offering in the local market. The new WT variants complete the launch of the 2025 S10 in the Brazilian market with important design, technological equipment and powertrain changes.

In particular, the 2025 Chevy S10’s WT trim level represents a combination of the former LS and LT variants in a single optimized trim arriving with a more attractive proposition for customers looking for a work pickup, in addition to fleet owners. As such, the 2025 S10 WT range includes four configurations across Chassis Cab, Regular Cab and Crew Cab bodies.

Aesthetically, the new 2025 Chevy S10 WT boasts a basic finish with unique trim distinguishing it from the rest of the truck’s lineup. In this sense, the WT presents an exclusive front fascia that maintains the general appearance of the off-road-focused Z71, but without LED headlamps and daytime running lights, a silver-painted grille and the brand’s traditional gold Bow Tie. In addition, it’s equipped with steel wheels and unpainted plastic bodyside moldings.

For its part, the 2025 Chevy S10 WT’s powertrain consists of the new generation 2.8L I4 turbodiesel Duramax engine that develops 207 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque, mated to a standard six-speed manual transmission in base trims, along with standard 4WD. The most equipped 2025 S10 WT Crew Cab variant features GM’s new eight-speed automatic transmission.

The all-new WT versions of the updated 2025 Chevy S10 are now available for sale alongside the rest of the pickup’s lineup in the brand’s dealer network in Brazil. The company estimates that the new WT trim level will account for the majority of sales, with a share between 40 and 50 percent, thanks to upgraded features and available accessory packages. There are no images available yet of the 2025 S10 Chassis Cab or the interior.

  1. I’ll take the truck, but Brazil can keep those prices.

  2. Why is this thing approaching Colorado and Silverado prices?

  3. Brazil economy is awful . It would not be that price here . Too bad they won’t offer it here . After maverick success you would think this would be no brainer . 2.0 turbo or even 2.3 if you wanted beat ford in that regard. America wants affordable work trucks that can fit in the garage .

  4. I wish the built and offered this truck in North America. The current GM pickup lineup is too large in size and too expensive.

    1. They did……….

This is just a pervious generation Colorado with a different look. The cab is a dead giveaway.

      1. That is also why it is not really low cost either.

This is only a S10 in name only.

      2. Good catch, I really didn’t take the time to observe the true details of the Cab itself.

    2. Agreed … the auto manufacturers are at a crossroads right now. They need to get rid of all the VP’s in charge of whatever, the uneeded forms of all the middle management, and whatever else that really isn’t needed to run a car manufacturer for a profit. The ’24 Chevy Trax and Chevy Trail Blazer (in LS trim) are proof the above idea will work. We were holding out for the “rumored” Chevy Montana mini truck, but it seems that isn’t going to happen so we will likely go with the LS Trax.

  5. Just who on this site really gives a flying flip on vehicles being produced and sold outside of the United States? Not me or anyone that I know! GM should concentrate more on lowering the prices here to increase the volume of sold vehicles in the United States. Tomg
