As GM Authority anticipated earlier this week, the all-new 2025 Cadillac Optiq just debuted in the United States and was simultaneously announced in Canada.
The local team of the General Motors luxury brand in Canada officially announced the all-new 2025 Cadillac Optiq in the North American country on Wednesday, May 29, when the regional introduction of the upcoming all-electric crossover took place. The all-new 2025 Optiq will expand Cadillac‘s all-electric vehicle portfolio and represent the brand’s new entry-level model for the next generation of EV buyers.
“With four consecutive years of record-setting sales, Cadillac has demonstrated its strong market presence in Canada,” said Managing Director of Cadillac Canada, Mike Speranzini. “Cadillac has always defined luxury, and Optiq – Cadillac’s first Compact Luxury EV SUV, is an example of how our bold innovative spirit is propelling us into the EV future,” he added.
As in the United States, the all-new 2025 Cadillac Optiq was announced in Canada with an initial configuration that includes the distinctive Luxury and Sport equipment levels in standard dual-motor AWD format, with which the brand promises an experience of fun and athletic driving. As such, both trims will come standard with a full suite of technology and safety features that will make the Optiq stand out within its category.
The 2025 Cadillac Optiq’s all-wheel drive powertrain with standard dual Ultium Drive motors has an estimated maximum output of 300 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. It’s fuelled by an 85-kilowatt-hour Ultium Battery pack that offers a range of up to 482 km or 300 miles of range on a single charge. The battery pack supports DC fast charging and can add up to 70 miles of range in about 10 minutes.
The all-new 2025 Cadillac Optiq will be launched later this year in the Canadian market, where it will continue to raise the brand’s competitiveness and hopes to win over new customers. “Over the past five years, Cadillac has welcomed about 15,000 new Canadian customers. With its sporty and athletic design, Optiq will serve as an important gateway to attract luxury EV intenders to Cadillac as we look to offer a fully electric portfolio by the end of the decade,” Speranzini finished.

@Mike USD$54,000 starting price including destination charge. That’s all that has been released AWD Luxury 1 and 2 and then Sport 1 and 2 options available.

i still love caddys but since they were not bringing the new xt5 to america and the present one is well boring, i jumped ship and bought new lincolin nautilus, due to horror stories for charging i just wouldnt consider an EV
