Eight months after the official confirmation of the redesigned model for the region, General Motors has just introduced the all-new 2024 GMC Acadia in the Middle East.
The automaker’s GM Africa and Middle East subsidiary officially introduced the all-new third-generation 2024 GMC Acadia during a special dedicated GMC brand event in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where it launched the new GMC Hummer EV and the GMC Canyon AT4X for the region. The 2024 Acadia will arrive later this year in the main Middle Eastern countries to strengthen GMC‘s successful line of premium trucks and SUVs.
“The all-new and elevated 2024 GMC Acadia is longer, wider, and taller than its predecessor,” said GM Africa and Middle East Communications Department. “The 2024 Acadia has an all-new premium-appointed interior, elevated exterior design language, an enhanced suite of technology, and an extensive list of standard safety features that will redefine what a premium mid-size SUV can be,” the company added.
Notably, the all-new 2024 GMC Acadia debuted in the Middle East exclusively with the AT4 trim level, which is configured to enhance the off-road capabilities of the three-row midsize crossover. The model has a 1-inch higher suspension, a wider track, 18-inch AT tires, and exclusive Active Torque Control all-wheel drive. It also features unique details like signature red tow hooks and integrated skid plates.
Although GM has not yet revealed details about the final configuration of the model for the region, the 2024 GMC Acadia is expected to continue the strategy of offering a complete line of versions just like the current model. In any case, all trims of the 2024 Acadia comes standard with the new 2.5L I4 LK0 turbocharged engine, which has 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The all-new 2024 GMC Acadia will be officially launched in the Middle East countries during the second half of the year when the first batch of units ready for sale with specific features for the region is scheduled to arrive. The company is confident that the redesigned Acadia’s highly refined design and advanced technological features will launch a new era in the brand’s utility portfolio that will drive its regional growth.
