2025 GMC Hummer EV Pickup Pricing Uncovered

The 2025 GMC Hummer EV Pickup drops in as the fourth model year for the all-electric off-roader, following up on the preceding 2024 model year with several important updates and changes. Customers will have two trim levels to choose from, with three different powertrain options on offer. Now, GM Authority has uncovered pricing information for the 2025 GMC Hummer EV Pickup.

Badging on the GMC Hummer EV. The 2025 GMC Hummer EV Pickup starts at $98,845.

For 2025, the GMC Hummer EV Pickup will be available in two trims: 2X and 3X. The 3X trim level will be available in two different powertrain configurations, including a tri-motor model with a 20-module battery, and a tri-motor model with a 24-module battery.

Notably, MSRPs are unchanged compared to the 2024 model year. That said, GMC is offering an early reservation credit (RPO code R8C) amounting to $8,150 for the 2X trim and $6,250 for the 3X trim.

Pricing details for the 2025 GMC Hummer EV Pickup are as follows (prices listed here include destination freight charge, set at $2,295):

2025 GMC Hummer EV Pickup Starting MSRPs
Trim Level Powertrain 2025 MSRP + DFC
2X 2-Motor – 20-Module Battery $98,845
3X 3-Motor – 20-Module Battery $106,945
3X 3-Motor – 24-Module Battery $116,940

As GM Authority covered previously, GM will not offer a “base” 2 trim level for the Hummer EV, as was originally planned. The 2 trim was originally expected to share components with the 2X, including a two-motor powertrain, paired with a lower-capacity battery and fewer features, but now, plans to offer a base-level 2 trim have changed.

Moreover, the 2025 Hummer EV will continue to utilize the Combined Charging System Combo 1 (CCS1) and the five-pin SAE J1772 charger connectors, rather than adopting the NACS charging connector. GM is set to switch to the NACS connector in the 2025 calendar year, as opposed to the 2025 model year.

Additionally, the Omega Edition package, known for its exclusive Neptune Blue Matte exterior color, will not be available for the 2025 model year. This package was previously available for the 3X trim in conjunction with the 2024 model year, but has since been dropped for 2025.

Production of the 2025 GMC Hummer EV is set to begin on June 3rd, 2024, at the GM Factory Zero plant in Michigan. This facility continues to manufacture both the Pickup and SUV variants of the Hummer EV, underpinned by the GM BT1 platform and powered by GM Ultium Drive motors and GM Ultium battery technology.

  1. I’ll take the most expensive one. In green. I want to make sure everyone thinks that I’m saving the planet by not having a gasoline hummer instead

    1. No not junk…it’s a Halo vehicle it around so people can look up to it and say I wish my Sierra had crab walk, or I like how massive this thing is just because it almost looks like a mini monster truck…come on man what do you want a diesel then you’ll complain about having to add DEF fluid and at this size even if it lost 1000 pounds it still wouldn’t be great of fuel mileage! This thing is what a Hummer used to be back in the 80s and 90s yeah I know know it’s over the top but I like it not that awful H2 garbage that was junk! A suburban pretending to be a Hummer 🥱 yawn! I think of this as like a Corvette ZR1 no I don’t need one no one needs it but it’s cool that it even is available to buy!

      1. In fact that awful Hummer H2 was a missed opportunity by GM to bring back the K5 Blazer and two door Tahoe!

  6. At this point, aside from waiting for electrics to get less expensive (Hummer not withstanding) and waiting for the tech to get better at long term durability (namely the battery), this change to the NACS is another reason I would wait on getting an EV. My first EV should be the best they can offer if you want to convince me to spend up the @$$ to switch.
