The 2025 Chevy Equinox launches the all-new fourth generation of the Bow Tie’s well-liked crossover model, with GM pulling the sheets on the overhauled vehicle this January to reveal its new styling, safety and infotainment technology, and trail-ready Activ trim level.
GM Authority previously detailed pricing for the 2025 Chevy Equinox in the United States, but now, The General has announced pricing for the crossover in Canada, along with details of the standard Canadian configuration of various trim levels.
The 2025 Chevy Equinox is expected to start at an all-in price of CA$35,398 for the LT trim with front-wheel drive, equivalent to US$25,898 at the time of writing. At the top end of the trim level lineup, the sporty RS trim has a base all-in price of CA$42,498, or US$31,093 at current exchange rates.
Notably, there are less available trim level and drivetrain combinations in Canada than in the U.S. market, with the Activ and RS both equipping all-wheel drive (AWD) as standard in Canada, while in the U.S. FWD is standard and AWD is optional on all trim levels. For this reason, there are only four trim level starting prices for Canada versus the six starting prices for the American variant of the 2025 Equinox.
Check out the table below for a full breakdown of 2025 Chevy Equinox prices in Canada. The base MSRP is shown, along with the $2,000 destination freight charge, the $100 federal A/C tax and up to $699 in dealer fees, with a total price including these taxes and fees listed for each trim level and drivetrain configuration.

---|---|---|---|---|---|---|

GM notes in its announcement that the Chevy Equinox has achieved first place by sales among Chevrolet Canada’s crossover SUV models and second place among Chevy sales overall in the country. Over 322,000 of the crossovers have sold in Canada over the past two decades.
Notably, the Canadian edition of the 2025 Chevy Equinox Activ trim gets a heated steering wheel and heated front seats as standard, typical fare for models sold in the northern country. Ventilated front seats and heated rear outboard seats are optional on the trim. The RS trim is equipped as standard with a heated flat-bottom steering wheel.
With the arrival of the 2025 Equinox, every Chevrolet crossover and SUV, including the Chevy Trax, Chevy Trailblazer, Chevy Equinox EV, Chevy Blazer, Chevy Blazer EV and the all-new Chevy Traverse is either new or has been refreshed within the past two years.
Chevrolet has started 2025 Equinox dealer ordering and will begin deliveries to customers later this year.

When can you build the 2025 on the website?
What’s a/c charge, also $2,000 dfc Ouch. $699 dealer fee, maybe a few hundred, not $700. But dealers will probably be marking the price way up until they realize theirs only so many people out there that want an ev. Let’s see if the noxs roll out goes better than the blazers
In Canada, you get even more screwed on prices! Here it’s way tougher to earn the cash with all the taxes on paychecks etc…
I believe DFC is dealer finance charge. If you get your own financing outside GM you pay an extra $2,000!! That’s enough for me to keep my 2006 Impala. Criminal.
Just kidding, it’s dealer freight charge but I’ve heard some dealerships are doing exactly that. You don’t finance through them, you pay a fee for independent financing.
