The 2025 Chevy Corvette ZR1 is just over the horizon, with an anticipated debut scheduled for this Summer. Slated to offer even more go-fast goodness over the current mid-engine Corvette lineup, the forthcoming ZR1 will cradle a new forced induction engine and aggressive aero treatment, making it a formidable track weapon. Now, GM Authority is taking a peek inside the new the 2025 Chevy Corvette ZR1 interior with the following spy photos.
This is the first time we’ve seen inside the cabin of the 2025 Chevy Corvette ZR1, and, as expected, the look and layout remains unchanged from that of the current C8 models (Stingray, Z06, and E-Ray). The interior in this particular C8 ZR1 prototype appears to be finished in the Jet Black colorway.
The photos confirm that the Corvette ZR1 will retain the familiar cabin layout, which is expected to be the case across the Corvette lineup until at least the 2026 model year, after which a comprehensive refresh could debut. This means the familiar “wall of buttons” and center console design will carryover with the 2025 model year, though the ZR1 will, however, have a badge at the bottom of its steering wheel to designate ZR1. In this prototype, the logo is covered by some tape at the 6 o’clock position. Despite some disappointment that may arise from the lack of interior updates, the ZR1 is set to impress with other significant enhancements.
Under the hood, the 2025 Corvette ZR1 will boast a serious power upgrade with the introduction of the LT7 engine, a forced-induction version of the 5.5L V8 LT6 that currently powers the C8 Z06. This new engine is rumored to deliver an astounding 850 horsepower, far surpassing the 670 horsepower of the Z06. This leap in power will be complemented by major aerodynamic upgrades, including new air ducts, an air extractor in the hood, and, for Coupe models, a massive rear spoiler.
As GM Authority has reported since 2020, the ZR1 will be available in both coupe and convertible variants. The prototype interior seen here belongs to a convertible model. Check out our previous coverage to see what it looks like on the outside.

Largely unchanged? I’m far from being the smartest guy in the world, but I’m confident you could have left out the word “largely.”
You’re right.
“Largely” has been removed from the story 🙂
I don’t own a ‘Vette, and at 62, I likely never will (although I would have loved to when I was younger)… But is that ski slope in the center a necessary feature?
Necessary, no but this my second C8 and I find that the “ski slope” is very user friendly.
agree, you’re too old to appreciate today’s innovations, go get something that suits your mentality.
I owned my first Corvette in March 2020, and today I own a 2020 C8, a 2023 Z06 and just took delivery of a 2024 E-Ray….I am 75…. there’s no time to fall in love for some fun toys….
You must alive to own a mid-engine….nothing beats that.
Congrats. I am 73 and would like to order my first Corvette. I had a deposit for 3 years for a Z06 and my dealer couldn’t tell me when I would be able to place and order hence I cancelled. I have a deposit on an E-Ray from another dealer and he said I will not be able to order one till early next year. Frustrating to say the least. That said you must have great connections to have been able to get a Z06 and E-Ray. Congrats again.
Hello DrPiz, my name is Mike Davis and I am the Corvette Specialist here at Mike Maroone Chevrolet in West Palm Beach Florida. I see your comment that you have been waiting 3 years for a Z06. I can definitely help you with that if you are still in market. If you need further information you can email me at [email protected].
It actually works very well and the driver will soon learn to use it without even looking. I was not a fan at first but now I really like it and very much prefer it to moving all that to a screen or buttons under the screens..
The so called ski slope thankfully keeps my wife’s hand off the touch screen unlike my Grand Cherokee where she constantly fiddles with air settings.
The Supposed ZR1 Interior shots look exactly the same as My 2022 Stingray , No changes yet.
It will be interesting to see how many ZR1s will be produced in 2025 given the C8, Z06, and E-Ray are all built on the same production line. When the Zr1 is announced there will be excitement, marketing videos, and hype over this beast. But what they will fail to tell you is you will have to wait 3-4 years to order the ZR1 just like the Z06 and E-Ray.
Everyone loves to complain about Mary Barra but she greenlighted the new Vette and obviously approved the funding for this variant. I think this is evidence she is more of a “car guy” than all of her predecessors in the E Suite put together. Whine if you want to but facts are facts, she did it.
Yes she did, but I’m still an Ed Cole fan.
I’ll hold my applause. More hyper-low volume, $150,000+ C8 variants don’t prove she’s a friend of the common enthusiast. Sure these C8s are great for the magazine racers and fanboy internet arguments but really. I can’t think of any point in time that GM has been so lacking in performance vehicles.
I have a new C8 on order and it’s expected build date of the week of May 13th 2024.
This will be my 3rd Vette that I’ve owned and it is superior looking to any from the past.
Looks just like the misshapen base model. This is what passes for “better”?
Seems like the only thing right with this car is the cylinder count
I would never buy the current model if I knew that an updated one would be coming out soon. Id wait for that. New one is always a better one. Imagine you bought a car and then a couple of months later smth better is out.
So its a bad move from them. The Facelifted c8 Zr1 debut would be cool.
I’m 76. I own a C6 and a C8. Both supercharged, with headers, etc. The larger dealers the upper east part of the USA get much larger allotments of Corvettes. Order your Z06 or E-Ray from one of them. You’ll get it sooner than you think.
On the road, the C8 has some strange angles to look at . Like they started with the massive engine area and added on bits. I much prefer the class style of a base C6 . Especially the rear end . It doesn’t scream Chevy like the C7 and C8. As far as the C8, let’s face it…. we all want the Zora. Maybe with a less Camaro rear end like a Corvette deserves.
