2025 Cadillac XT6 Platinum Package To Include Super Cruise

The Cadillac XT6 initially launched for the 2020 model year, with only a handful of relatively minor updates and changes applied in the years since. It was previously uncertain if the XT6 would be available for the 2025 model year, but GM Authority has confirmed that the crossover will indeed be offered in North America beyond 2024. Now, GM Authority has learned that the 2025 Cadillac XT6 will offer the GM Super Cruise system as part of the Platinum Package.

The 2025 Cadillac XT6 will offer Super Cruise as part of the Platinum Package..

The Platinum Package for the 2025 Cadillac XT6 is tagged with RPO code JSE, and will be available for both the Premium Luxury and Sport trim levels for the 2025 model year.

For those readers who may be unaware, GM Super Cruise (RPO code UKL) serves as The General’s hands-free driving system, offering an opportunity to take over vehicle controls on certain sections of road. Additionally, the 2025 Cadillac XT6’s Platinum Package will also include Night Vision (RPO code UV3), providing enhanced visibility and safety during nighttime driving conditions.

In addition to Super Cruise and Night Vision, the XT6’s Platinum package also bundles together the following content (relevant RPO codes listed in parentheses):

  • Semi-Aniline Leather Seating with Chevron-Perforated inserts (all rows)
  • French stitched leather-wrapped horn pad/air bag cover
  • Modena leather-wrapped steering wheel
  • Leather-wrapped instrument panel, console and door trim
  • Sueded microfiber headliner
  • Front and rear premium carpeted floor mats (RPO code BB4)

For the Premium Luxury trim, the Platinum Package also includes the Real-time damping suspension chassis (RPO code F45) upgrade and the Performance suspension (RPO code FE5) upgrade, both of which are included as standard on the Sport trim.

The 2025 Cadillac XT6 Platinum Package is only available in conjunction with several other optional packages, namely the Technology Package (RPO code Y4N), Driver Assist Package (RPO code Y66), Security Cargo Package (RPO code VGF), and the Premium Headlamp System (RPO code UWN). Buyers can customize their interior aesthetic with two interior color options – Jet Black with Bronze Carbon Fiber trim (RPO code H2U) or Maple Sugar with Fineline Calico Wood trim (RPO code HMS).

While pricing details for the 2025 XT6 have yet to be announced, we can look to the 2024 Cadillac XT6 for a general ballpark. Taking the cost of the Platinum Package and all other requisite packages, plus Super Cruise and Night Vision, the total cost will likely be around $13,950 for the Premium Luxury trim and $12,650 for the Sport.

Notably, the 2025 Cadillac XT5 will no longer offer the Platinum Package, as GM Authority covered previously. We should also note that the XT6 does not offer the full range of Super Cruise capabilities.

As a reminder, the XT6 offers two engine options, including the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine and the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LGX gasoline engine. The GM C1 platform provides the underpinnings, while production takes place that the GM Spring Hill facility in Tennessee.

  1. In the past the Super Cruise on the XT6 was the older version without as many roads mapped on it, and they apparently weren’t updating it. Anyone know if it has the updated version now?

    1. i believe SC is now universal across all models so its updated from the master database

    2. I assume that all of the limitations due to never updating to the modern electrical architecture are still present, so limited maps.

I can already hear the execs next year, “see, I told you that there isn’t reason to upgrade the XT5 and XT6, since they don’t sell very many of them.” Of course, if they would refresh even just the electronics the number of units sold would go up. Unfortunately, I am sure that getting SC in the XT5 would be impossible without a major overhaul.

  2. Super Cruise should be a stand-alone option. I have a 2024 XT6 Premium Luxury with the Platinum Package. It’s a GREAT package and doesn’t need the extra cost of Super Cruise. I don’t need it and I don’t want it, especially for nearly $14,000.

  4. So what about updating the interior? So while everybody else are putting 33″ infotainment screens in their vehicles the Xt6 is going to keep that small 8′ in theirs, ok got it… I will be leaving Cadillac

    1. To be fair the XT6 has only been in production since 2020 and the other 3 row GM crossovers were from 2017-2018, and the Enclave won’t arrive until the 2025 MY. So if the XT6 continues production it’ll probably get redesigned later. It’s a shame that the interior is a bit lacking, especially given the price, but it still has the LGX in it which is a plus. One of the best V6s GM has ever put out.

  5. We have a 2020 XT6 (loved it) ., are close to trading for new. Will not purchase the same dated vehicle. Kind of depressing. Been with Cadillac for a long time., looking at Lexus now.

  6. Had a 2020 and know have a 2023 XT6. Got a two year lease on the 2023 purposely waiting for an upgrade. I have 9 months left on my lease and this is Cadillac’s last chance with me. Have had Cadillac for the past 20 years but I’m sure they can care less if all the people posted move on to other brands.
