The 2025 Cadillac XT4 is set to streamline its trim offerings with the deletion of the base Luxury trim level. With the removal of the Luxury trim, the Premium Luxury will become the new entry level offering in the XT4 lineup. Interestingly, this move follows a similar strategy implemented for the 2025 Cadillac CT5 sedan.
Pricing details for the 2025 Cadillac XT4 have yet to be released. However, it is worth noting that the 2024 Cadillac XT4 Premium Luxury FWD starts at $42,690, including a $1,195 destination freight charge. This price point suggests a likely similar or slightly higher starting price for the 2025 model.
As GM Authority covered previously, production of the 2025 XT4 is scheduled to begin on June 3rd, 2024, following the conclusion of production of the 2024 model year on May 31st, 2024. The XT4 will continue to be manufactured at the GM Fairfax Assembly plant in Kansas City. XT4 production will be paused next year to retool the Fairfax facility for production of the next-gen Chevy Bolt EV.
The 2025 Cadillac XT4 will once again feature a host of enhancements introduced with the crossover’s recent mid-cycle refresh, which debuted for the 2024 model year. The exterior updates include a redesigned front fascia with a new grille and LED headlights, as well as a tweaked rear fascia with dual through-fascia exhaust outlets. The XT4 refresh also introduced three new paint colors: Emerald Lake Metallic, Midnight Sky Metallic, and Deep Sea Metallic.
Inside, the refreshed XT4 boasts a revamped cabin highlighted by a 33-inch, 9K-resolution LED color touchscreen. Other notable interior features include an available 14-speaker AKG audio system, 5G Wi-Fi hotspot capability, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
Under the hood, the XT4 is powered by the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine, which produces 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This engine is paired with a GM nine-speed automatic transmission, with both front-wheel drive (FWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) configurations offered. The XT4 continues to ride on the GM E2 platform.

the update on interior looked great but the car still looked like a gremlin!buick envision same platform looks like a complete design, , the caddy looks cheap by the ass being cut off.
Haha. So much for that “Y” trim plan they had going on for a couple years.
Does GM know how to stick with anything?
The “Y” trim nonsense comes to an end. Good!
You can smell it in the air that GM is itching to kill another model off.
Walt. I agree with you. I had a 2019 xt4 i think it is a good design and if marketed better would sell more. Pausing the build in 2025 will likely kill it off sadly
Cadillac needs to give it 335+ horsepower, put some sporty upgrades that work…lover it and tag it a “V” badge…heck Mini Countryman JCW and BMW X1 M35i have great power…maybe some guys would be interested!!! Same with the VW Tiguan, in Europe you can get the Golf R 300+ hp engine in it!!!!
