General Motors’s European business arm introduced the all-new 2025 Cadillac Optiq during a special event in Paris, the emblematic European city that from now on will serve as the luxury brand’s new commercial strategy epicenter in the old continent. In the capital of France, the automaker introduced the new 2025 Optiq to the rest of the European countries where Cadillac has a presence.

“As part of Cadillac’s all-electric entry into Europe, we are excited to host Optiq’s debut in Paris,” said President and Managing Director of GM Europe, Jaclyn McQuaid. “We look forward to providing specifications and opening sales for Optiq later this year,” she added.

Notably, the all-new 2025 Cadillac Optiq becomes Cadillac’s first all-electric vehicle to debut simultaneously in the United States and Europe, highlighting the compact-to-midsize crossover’s global focus. During the initial reveal of the model, the brand made it clear that the new Optiq was “designed to appeal to global luxury customers” and will be the Cadillac EV with the largest international presence – reaching “more than 10 regions.”

In fact, Cadillac Europe’s marketing department presents the new 2025 Cadillac Optiq specifically as “a sporty and stylish EV designed for Europe” with an athletic silhouette and distinctive design lines that will differentiate it from its rivals in the region. Although full European specifications have yet to be revealed, the 2025 Optiq will retain the standard dual-motor all-wheel drivetrain, as does the vehicle’s configuration in North America.
