With a mid-cycle refresh no longer planned, and potentially never to come, the 2025 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing introduces only a handful of changes and updates to the compact performance sedan marque.
However, GM Authority has learned that among these changes is a price hike for the two carbon fiber appearance packages offered on the Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing for the 2025 model year.
Specifically, the Carbon Fiber 1 Package (RPO code CFZ) gets a $500 increase, increasing in cost from $6,150 for the 2024 model year to $6,650 for the 2025 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing. The package consists of the following elements (relevant RPO codes in parenthesis):
- Carbon Fiber front splitter (VS2)
- Front wheel well deflectors
- Front dive planes
- Rear extra aero spoiler
Meanwhile, the Carbon Fiber 2 Package (RPO code CFV) gets a $500 increase, climbing from $4,450 to $4,950. As a reminder, the Carbon Fiber 2 Package requires choosing the Carbon Fiber 1 Package beforehand as a prerequisite. Its contents include:
- Rocker moldings (B6A)
- Carbon Fiber rocker extensions
- Rear valance diffuser
GM Authority previously uncovered pricing information for the 2025 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing and other Cadillac CT4 variants. The base MSRP of the Blackwing increased by $700 to $66,765. The Blackwing will also lose four paint colors with the model year changeover, including Black Diamond Tricoat (paint code GLK), Mercury Silver Metallic (GKA), Midnight Steel Metallic (GXU) and Velocity Red (G7C).
Under the hood, the 2025 CT4-V Blackwing will continue to cradle the twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 LF4 gasoline engine developing 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque as its sole powerplant choice. The GM six-speed manual transmission is equipped as standard, while the GM 10-speed automatic transmission is optionally available. Power reaches the pavement exclusively via a rear-wheel drive drivetrain.
Start of regular production (SORP) for the 2025 Cadillac CT4 is currently scheduled for June 3rd, 2024. The GM Alpha 2 platform continues to provide the bones for the compact performance sedan. Production of the model will take place at the GM Lansing Grand River Assembly plant in Michigan.
